We hope you will share our enthusiasm for the Elementary Summer Academy 2020. It can be your child’s link to enrichment, exploration, and excitement. If you elect to have your child participate in one of our programs, please register early as space is limited. Return your completed registration form and check (made payable to your home-base ) to your child’s school no later than Tuesday, June 9. All Summer Academy enrichment classes will be held at Greenwood Elementary School. Transportation will be provided from each elementary school to Greenwood Elementary School. Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from the bus stop and should remain with their children while waiting for transportation to the Summer Academy site. Expectations for students at Summer Academy bus stops are identical to expectations for students at bus stops during the regular school year. Please note that bus drivers will not be able to wait at elementary in the afternoon; therefore, it is imperative that parents arrive promptly to pick up students. Please review the summer sites and home-base schools. Additional information concerning transportation will be provided to students who enroll. MEDICAL INFORMATION pertaining to students who attend Summer Academy must be communicated to the Summer Academy Nurse. All medication, prescription and over the counter, MUST be brought to Summer Academy by a parent/guardian with the prescribed orders. If your student has medication at their home school, the orders may be obtained from that nurse before June 12, 2020 but must be brought to Summer Academy by a parent/guardian.
