Is there something or someone or some place you feel should be recorded for all to see now and in the future? Film archives are becoming a great resource for learning about and becoming involved in your local community, its past and its present. Come along to local filmmaker and animator Robin Webb’s workshop where you can learn techniques of film making to create your own moving archive for the North East. Together we can figure out what the writer wants to say, decide if it works, how it works, or if it could work better in another way. Sunderland on Film, curated by the North East Film Archive, features Wearside’s past, taking viewers back in time from a thrilling FA Cup win in 1973 back to the lost world of Edwardian Sunderland.
