Atenție prioritară s-a acordat abordării proble- melor privind fondarea instituțiilor de cercetare și a rețelei lor instituționale în cadrul celor trei sectoare principale ale științei: academic, universitar și de ramură, precum și privind constituirea și evoluția sistemului de administrare a științei pe dimensiunile națională și sectorială. Un subiect aparte l-a constituit formarea și evoluția potențialului științific uman în perioada de referință. Cuvinte–cheie: știință, instituție de cercetare, rețea instituțională, potențial științific uman, administrarea științei, cadrul juridic, reforma științei, cercetător științific, academician, membru corespondent, colaborare și cooperare științifică, integrare în spațiul științific european. ABSTRACT The study proposes a periodization of distinctive stages of science evolution in the Republic of Moldova, starting from the moment of the Academy of Sciences foundation (1961), the stages ENCICLOPEDICA. REVISTĂ DE ISTORIE A ŞTIINŢEI ȘI STUDII 2013 ENCICLOPEDICE 2 (5) nr. being identified in the aspect of institutional development and human research potential. The pri- ority attention is given to the approaching the prpoblems on establishing the research institutions and their institutional network within the framework of three main science sectors: academic, university and branch, as well as concerning the setting up and evolution of administrative system of science along the national and sectoral dimensions. A separate subject of the research was the formaion and evolution of human research potential in the studied period. The main goal of the workshop and its report is to provide a comprehensive presentation of analysis concerning problems and solutions for reduction, as well as control of water pollution and its effects. The result is a national contribution to the development of the Danube Pollution Reduction Programme and a revision of the Strategic Action Plan (SAP) of the ICPDR. The workshop was prepared by the Country Programme Coordinator, Dumitru Drumea, with the assistance of Angela Bularga. Both also worked as facilitators during the workshop. A team of national experts, who elaborated National Review Reports, was present to guide the participants in scientific and technical matters. Adriana Mircea supported the national team during the workshop by facilitating one of the working groups. The National Planning Workshop was attended by participants from various sectors: Representatives of Ministries (Ministry of Environment, as well as the Ministry of Land Development, Buildings and Communal Services) Inspectorates and Local Ecological Agencies. Furthermore representatives of National Institutes, the Economical Council of President, UNDP and several NGOs were present at the Workshop. The private sector was also represented.
