Subject Editor: Lauri Kaila. Abstract. Faunistic records additional to the recently published lists of Bombycoidea and Noctuoidea of the South Ural Mountains (Nupponen & Fibiger 2002, 2006) are presented, as well as some interesting records from the North Urals and the Lower Volga region. The material in the southern Urals was collected during 2006-2010 in six different expeditions, in North Ural in 2003 and 2007, and in the Lower Volga region in 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2006 in four expeditions. Four species are reported for the first time from Europe: Dichagyris latipennis (Piingeler, 1909), Pseudohermonassa melancholica (Lederer, 1853), Spae- lotis deplorata (Staudinger, 1897), and Xestia albonigra (Kononenko, 1981). Fourteen species are reported for the first time from the southern Urals. Altogether, records of 68 species are reported, including a few corrections to the previous articles. Further illustrations and notes on some poorly known taxa are given. Introduction The fauna of Bombycoidea and Noctuoidea of the southern Ural Mountains has been studied intensely since 1996, and the results of the research during 1996-2005 were published by Nupponen & Fibiger (2002, 2006). Since 2005, several further expedi- tions were made to the Urals by the first author. -

Some of them are rare in Poland. The following infor- mation is provided for each species: distribution in the studied area, period of appearance of imagines, as well as abundance according to a five-grade scale are given. KEY WORDS: Lepidoptera, Noctuidae, Poland, Central Podlasie, fauna. Druk pracy sfinansowany przez Katedrę Entomologii Akadeemii Rolniczej im. Augusta Cieszkowskiego w Poznaniu. Wstęp W ostatnich dwóch dekadach XX wieku dało się zauważyć wyraźne nasi- lenie badań nad rozsiedleniem motyli w Polsce. Zaowocowało to opracowa- niem wykazu rozmieszczeniowego motyli Polski (BUSZKO, NOWACKI 2000), będącego podsumowaniem stanu fauny Lepidoptera naszego kraju na koniec XX wieku. We wspomnianej pracy przedstawiono występowanie gatunków w poszczególnych województwach według podziału administracyjnego z 1999 roku. -

Schmetterlinge (Lepidoptera) Des Natura 2000-Schutzgebietes Wörschacher Moos (Steiermark) – Eine Gefährdete Vielfalt
Joannea Zool. Wiederaufnahme extensiver Mahd emp ehlt. Abstract: -

One New and 88 Rare for the Lithuanian Fauna Lepidoptera Species, Recorded in 2018–2019
LIETUVOS ENTOMOLOGŲ DRAUGIJOS DARBAI. 3 (31) tomas 57 ONE NEW AND 88 RARE FOR THE LITHUANIAN FAUNA LEPIDOPTERA SPECIES, RECORDED IN 2018–2019 MANTAS KAUPYS Kretingos 19-37, LT-92216 Klaipėda, Lithuania. E-mail: [email protected] Introduction This paper provides data on one new and 88 rare Lepidoptera species found in 5 administrative districts and municipalities of Lithuania in 2018–2019. Two species (Lycaena dispar and Phibalabteryx virgata) are included into the Red Data Book of Lithuania. Some species have been repeatedly found after a break of several decades in Lithuania. The Drymonia obliterata was recorded in Lithuania for the first time. Material and Methods The main data was collected during field trips in 2019. This study was focused on the observation of nocturnal moths - in total 75 nights were spent for that. Studies were carried out in various areas of North-western Lithuania. Over 7000 specimens of Lepidoptera have been identified during this study. Observations were carried out in 37 locations in the districts of Klaipėda, Kretinga, Skuodas, Mažeikiai and municipalities of Palanga and Neringa. Various entomological methods were used for collecting the specimens: some types of sugar baits, netting and light-trapping with the 500 W blended mercury lamp bulb. Part of data in the research area of Ylakiai was collected using automatic light trap with 250 W mercury vapour lamp bulb. The material was identified using various identification guides (Sterling & Parsons, 2012; Skou, 1986; Hacker et al.,2002). Collected specimens and photos are stored in the private collection of the author. A species new for the Lithuanian fauna is marked with an asterisk *. -
Ein Beitrag Zur Schmetterlingsfauna Des Naturschutzgebietes
Märkische Ent. Nachr. ISSN 1438-9665 30. Dezember 2016 Band 18, Heft 1/2 S. 1-36 Ein Beitrag zur Schmetterlingsfauna des Naturschutzgebietes und Flora-Fauna- Habitat Gebietes „Trautzke Seen und Moore“ im Landkreis Oder-Spree / Brandenburg (Lepidoptera) Michael Weidlich Summary A contribution to the Macrolepidoptera fauna of the nature reserve and flora-fauna-habitat area “Trautzke-Seen und Moore” in the district Oder-Spree/Brandenburg (Lepidoptera) The subprotection process and the natural space equipment of the „Trautzke Seen und Moore“ are outlined. Since 1989, the author has investigated the Lepidoptera fauna using various methods of observation. A total of 437 species were registered, including 65 red list species. Particularly note- worthy are the evidence of Acronicta menyanthidis (ESPER, 1789) and Actebia praecox (LINNAEUS, 1758) (category 1) and Acanthopsyche atra (LINNAEUS, 1767), Boloria dia (LINNAEUS, 1767), Coe- nonympha arcania (LINNAEUS, 1761), Aporophila nigra (HAWORTH, 1809), Luperina nickerlii (FREYER, 1845), Archanara dissoluta (TREITSCHKE, 1825), Lycophotia molothina (ESPER, 1789), Xestia castanea (ESPER, 1789), Xestia agathina (DUPONCHEL, 1827), Protolampra sobrina (DU- PONCHEL, 1843), Dicallomera fascelina (LINNAEUS, 1758) and Eilema sororcula (HUFNAGEL, 1766) (category 2). Furthermore, the occurrence of another tyrphobiont and endangered Buckleria paludum (ZELLER, 1839), characteristic of the oligotrophic peat bog formation is reported. The re- cords of 95 species of the area, including all types of red list, are discussed and brought into the spatial connection to the Nature Park Schlaubetal and the country Brandenburg. In detail, the area extensions of Pennithera firmata (HÜBNER, 1822) in Brandenburg to the south and Noctua inter- jecta HÜBNER, 1803 in Slovakia to the east are discussed, which is the first record for Slovakia. -
