2.1 VENUE

Please note that reservation of training can be made one day in advance for the next day only and each team is entitled to make one reservation per day. Additional training session may be available only if the courts will be available.

2.6 Uniform and Accessories:

The playing tops/tanks will be provided by the organizer for all Main Draw and Qualification players. Shorts/bottoms and accessories must be provided by the players and/or by their sponsors. If required by the FIVB Technical Delegate, other uniforms and accessories will be checked during the Preliminary Inquiry. Athletes of the same team must wear the same colour and style of shorts. The display of the individual players' sponsors' logos on shorts and accessories must comply with the FIVB Sports Regulations and Handbook.

For an event offering USD 25,000-, the following breakdown applies (in USD):

The Prize Money of the event will be paid by the organizer to the athletes (via cash onsite) as per the below chart:

Note: The athlete is responsible for paying the relevant taxes for his/her earnings in his/her own country and he/she must update both his/her bank account details and his/her personal information at the beginning of the contract year through the FIVB Beach Volleyball web based system.

The tax (Approx. 20%) at source will be implemented as per the fiscal regulations/laws in the countries where the tournament is held.

GENERAL MATTERS

2.7 Arrival and Departure

Closest Airport:

There are two airports for Zhongwei City and the organizer will arrange the pickups from both airports if the travel form will be received as per the following requirement.

1. Zhongwei Sha Potou Domestic Airport (Airport Code：ZHY）for the flight from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou,etc. which is 10 KM away from the venue.

2. Hedong International Airport (Airport Code：INC) for both international and demotic flights.

Organizer will provide the airport transfer for the Main Draw players only. Main Draw Athletes will be picked up only if the organizer has received the forms duly completed (BVB/31) at least 48 hours before the teams’ arrival.

Transport cost for the Qualification tournament players and team staff: From Yinchuan Hedong Airport to the MD Hotel 120 USD/person From Zhongwei Sha Potou Airport to the MD Hotel 10 USD/person Please be noted that the transportation vehicles will be arranged accordingly from sedan car (2 pax) to bus (43 pax). If bus is arranged, the cost will be at 60 USD/person.

2.8 Board and Lodging

The organizers will provide the Main Draw teams with hotel accommodation (double-bed room) in the Organizer's designated hotel and with meals from the evening before the start of the Main Draw until the day after the elimination of the teams from the event, breakfast included. Athletes will be personally responsible for all extras at the hotel such as mini-bar, phone calls, laundry, etc. to be paid upon checkout. Organizers will not be required to make reservations for coaches, guests, teams’ physiotherapists, friends, or family members accompanying the participating athletes.

2.10 Insurance

Athletes must have their own liability and medical insurance.

2.11 Medical Controls

The FIVB reserves the right to perform random medical controls on the participating athletes and alcohol tests on the officials, as per FIVB rules and regulations.

2.12 Accreditation

Organizers will provide all Organizing Committee members, FIVB Officials, referees, athletes, VIPs, journalists, technical staff, court personnel, volunteers, etc. with an official accreditation card and will ensure that only people with appropriate accreditation will access the designated venue areas.
