Permit application information: Permit application turn-around time: 3 months waiting period A “work visa” is required if the period of work to be done in Namibia is under 3 months A “work permit” is required if more than 3 months are going to be spent on work in the country A separate export permit must be applied for. In addition, should any of the species occur on the CITES list, a CITES permit must be obtained and in the case of animals a veterinary clearance certificate as well.
