The validity of the problem for modern theoretical and practical linguistics is noted, which resulted from the significant expansion of the spheres of functioning of the Ukrainian professional language, its interaction with special purpose languages of other national cultures, in particular English. The research reflects the issues of history of the professional language study, theoretical aspects of the separation of special purpose language as a separate discourse of social practice, presents current perspectives on the practical study of professional language practice. The selected segment is studied as a modern literary language in its written and oral varieties. For teachers, scientists, students, graduate students.
