To this end, a total of 41 (18 male and 23 female) Tazi dogs was analyzed with the Minitab 16 statistical software program using ANOVA and Student’s t-Test. Descriptive statistics for live weight 18.4±0.31, withers height 62.0±0.44, height at rump 62.1±0.50, body length 60.7±0.55, heart girth circumference 63.9±0.64, chest depth 23.1±0.21, abdomen depth 13.9±0.21, chest width 17.4±0.25, haunch width 16.4±0.18, thigh width 22.3±0.26, tail length 45.7±0.37, limb length 38.9±0.31, cannon circumference 10.2±0.11, head length 24.0±0.36 and ear length 12.8±0.19 cm respectively. -

BRIEF HISTORICAL SUMMARY : The Russian Black Terrier was created in Russia during the late 1940s and the early 1950s by selective interbreeding of breeds like the Rottweiler, Giant Schnauzer, Airedale Terrier and Newfoundland Dog. The Giant Schnauzer is considered to be the main ancestor of the breed. The initial breeding was supervised by the military cynological school outside Moscow and the dogs were based in their kennels named “Red Star”. The aim of the creators of the breed was the development of a large, brave, strong and manageable working dog with pronounced guarding instinct; a dog which could be useful for many services and adapts well to various climate conditions. The breed was recognized by the FCI in 1984. GENERAL APPEARANCE : The Russian Black Terrier is a large dog with a slightly long body and very athletic built of a robust type and hardy constitution. The breed has qualities like massive bone and powerful muscles. It is symmetrical with a large head and compact body and a voluminous and deep chest. -

All the dogs will have to arrive at the show at least one hour prior to the judging time allocated to their breed, but before 13.00 o'clock at the latest. Remember to bring with you the Ring Card, Registration Documents and Vaccination Certificates, a water bowl, a strong collar and lead, and also a show lead for your dog. ACCESS Access to the show grounds on Saturday and Sunday from 07.30 o'clock onwards. The ticket sale is situated at the entrance. The rings 1-10 are on sand, others on grass. TICKETS & CATALOGUES & PARKING The tickets cost 5 euro for adults, 2 euro for children between 7-15 years. Mobile catalogues (for Android & Apple phones & tablets) can be dowloaded from Showlink app, price 2,99 euro. Breed specialty catalogue (printed) available from the office for the price of 3 euro. The parking fee is 5 euro and close park 10 euro. PRIZES & ROSETTES & TRANSLATION SERVICES Prizes can be collected against the judging report from the Prize Service tent at the show area. Translating Services are situated at this same point. Rosettes will be given by ring steward in the ring. Because of the large entries we kindly ask the exhibitors to be ready by the ring early enough before judging.
