CLASSIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY 1. 3-6 Month classes for both dogs and bitches which are at least 3 months of age but not over 6 months of age on the day of the show. 2. 6-9 Month classes for both dogs and bitches which are at least 6 months of age but not over 9 months of age on the day of the show. 3. 9-15 Month classes for both dogs and bitches which are at least 9 months of age but not over 15 months of age on the day of the show. 4. Bred by Exhibitor classes for both dogs and bitches which are at least Bred by the Exhibitor and must be shown by the owner that bred the dog. 5. American Bred classes for both dogs and bitches which are born in the . 6. Open classes for both dogs and bitches which are at least63 months of age 7. Best of Breed classes for both dogs and bitches which are at least 3 months of age but not over 6 months of age on the day of the show. 8. Other Various levels of champions depending on the level the dog has achieved before the date of the show.

AWARDS Show Awards

ARBA offers the following classes to its exhibitors for both dogs and bitches

 3 to 6 month class  6 to 9 month class  9 to 15 month class  Bred By Exhibitor Class  American Bred Class  Open Class  Best Of Breed  Master Champion Class  Senior Master Champion Class

All of the dogs in the 3 to 6 month - 6 to 9 month - 9 to 15 month - Bred By Exhibitor- American Bred and the Open class are placed 1st - 2nd - 3rd - and 4th place and are awarded 1st - 2nd - 3rd - and 4th place ribbons.

Each dog is given a rating of one of the following: Excellent - Very Good - Good - Satisfactory.

Only dogs that have been placed 1st place and given a rating of excellent will go on to compete for the Winners Dog or Winners Bitch award.

Once all of the class male dogs have been judged, the judge will then call all the dogs that have won 1st place in their class and received an Excellent rating back into the ring for the Winners Dog and Reserve Winners competition. The same procedure will happen for the Winners Bitch competition.

Breed Awards

Once the Winners Dog and the Winners Bitch has been awarded the Breed judging will commence. The competition is comprised of the Following: o ARBA Champion Dogs for the breed. o ARBA Champion bitches for the breed. o Winners Dog for the Breed o Winners Bitch for the breed

Upon the competition of the Breed judging for a particular Group (i.e. Sporting Group) the group judging will commence Eligible Dogs

I (we) acknowledge that the Rules and Regulations of the American Rare Breed Association have been made available to me (us), and that I am (we are) familiar with their contents. I (we) agree that the club holding this show or obedience trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the show or obedience trial and the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, offices, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the show or obedience trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I(we) further agree to hold and aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes.

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering.

2. ( Class) Best of Breed competition are dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship of beauty, from the American Rare Breed Association. Others - Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you entered your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you have entered your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division.

3. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of the new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owners has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to Parent Club.

Exhibitor Notice

Make all checks and money orders payable to: ARBA Dog Shows, Canadian and other foreign exhibitors must make fees payable in US Funds. Please mail checks and money orders with entries. ARBA assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail.

PRE-ENTRY: Fees for each Regular Class and Junior Showmanship Class $20.00. Pre-Entry fee for each 3-6 month Puppy Class and Obedience Trial $15.00. All day of show entries are $25.00. All exhibitors must report in to the show superintendent on the morning of the show.

Day of Show Entries: Day of show entries will be accepted for the Saturday Morning, Afternoon, Sunday Morning and Sunday Afternoon shows as is posted at the ARBA Show tent or office. Site and procedure is subject to change without notice. All exhibitors that have not pre-entered will have the opportunity to enter into all of the shows between the hours of 7:30 and 8:30 am. Any exhibitor wishing to sign up for the morning shows must do so between those hours. NO EXCEPTIONS! Entry Fees: Shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee or Hotel Officials. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or complete the show, no entry fees will be refunded.

Postdated and Returned Checks: Do not constitute a valid entry fee. ARBA will add a collection fee to the amount of the returned check. Any exhibitor bouncing a check will be required to pay by cash or money order for future shows.

No Refunds: Will be made for duplicate entries that have been processed. No refunds will be made for dogs that are absent at the show that were not cancelled before the closing date.

Errors on Entry Blanks, Absent Entries: Owners are responsible for errors in filling out entry forms. No entry fees will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date.

No Entry: Shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.

Shows: There will be championship shows ( a morning and afternoon show on Saturday, however the shows will run back to back on Sunday without a break) and (1) one Junior Championship. Or the number advertised in the premium.

Show Ring Tent: Only dogs about to enter the show ring will be permitted under the show tent. No crates are permitted in this area. There may or may not be an exhibitor’s tent. Bring your own shade.

Judges: Will not wait for any dog(s) holding up the class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. Judges may not judge dogs owned or co-owned by them. F.C.I. Judges will not judge breeds that they are not licensed to judge at breed level.

Restrictions: No classes, for -Hybrids and American Indian Dogs.

Excessive aggression: Will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the show grounds. Your entry fee will not be refunded.

Each Person: Will be responsible for their own dog’s droppings. This rule will be strictly enforced by the show committee. Anyone that has been warned more than once will be excused from the show site. The entry will not be refunded. Thank You.

No Prong Collars: Are allowed in the show ring. No flexy leads allowed on the show site at any time.

No Photographs are to be taken at our show with judges, without the permission of the Show Superintendent. All awards will be stripped from the dog if the photograph is taken without permission.
