FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION OF OUR LADY: Saturday next 15th August is a Holyday of Obligation. Mass times are as follows- Inch - Saturday @ 9.30am; Kilmaley – Saturday 11.30am; Connolly - Saturday 10.30am There is NO Vigil Mass in Kilmaley on Friday 14th . Mass is on Mount Callan on that evening at 7pm.

MOUNT CALLAN MASS : Mass on Mount Callan this Friday 14th August at 7pm Bus will collect at Inch Church on Friday evening at 5.30pm and at Connolly Church at 5.50pm. If weather is bad the Mass will take place in Miltown Malbay Church.

"YEAR OF CONSECRATED LIFE": We extend a warm welcome to join with our Criocha Callan Cluster to celebrate this special occasion on Thursday 24th September at 7.30pm in Miltown Malbay Church. We ask that any family who have members in Religious Life be as Sisters, Brothers, Priests to contact the Parish Office with their names & addresses as soon as possible. We hope to send a personal Invitation to each one concerned.

PILGRIMAGE TO CANON ISLAND will take place on Sunday 16th August. Boats will leave Crovraghan Pier (off Ennis Road, ) at 5.30pm. Life jackets are compulsory (some will be available at the pier). Priests are welcome to concelebrate.

YOUTH 2000: The Youth 2000 Summer Festival will take place at the Cistercian College, Roscrea from Thursday 13th – Sunday 16th August. For young people aged 16-35, an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic Faith & meet many new people, with over 1000 young people from all corners of attending last year. NATIONAL LEARNING NETWORK have now set up in Ennis and we are running a full time FETAC Level 3 Employability Skills Programme which is aimed at early school leavers or those who completed the Leaving Cert Applied but need extra supports to continue their training and education. HOST FAMILIES WANTED: For International Students who will attend local secondary schools for a period of 3 months up to 9 months. WARMER HOMES: Roscommon Leader Partnership in conjunction with the Sustainability Energy Authority of Ireland are running a Warmer Homes Scheme. This project will be FREE to individuals who are in receipt of either Fuel Allowance or Family Income Supplement (FIS) or Jobseeker’s Allowance (for more than 6 months with a child/ren under 7), are a private home owner and the house was built before 2006. Only homes that have NOT received works can apply for this project. If you are interested please contact us on 090-6630252 for an application form.
