Some of this Pilgrim Way indicated in this submission journey will involve traveling on the original Pilgrims Route to Clonmacnoise. It eliminates the need to travel on the N62 (dangerous). This will also facilitate the connecting to Clonfert (old cathedral) and Lough Boora. A proposal already exists (courtesy of Longford Co. Co.) to connect Clondra (on Royal ) to Athlone (via ). I can furnish more details as required. PS this will network with EuroVelo3 (European Pilgrim Cycle Routes)

Clustering of Tier 1 sites Form clusters around some of the Tier 1 sites - or link the Tier 1 sites and sub Proposal : branches out to smaller sites? It is difficult to link all Tier 1 sites in one path it might be better as clusters. To create an international Pilgrim Path, it has to have all very significant sites with excellent stories to tell. It must be able to walk, cycle or drive linking together.
