Welcome to Lshsra WELCOME TO LSHSRA 20 20 - 2021 RODEO FINALS Thank you to all of our hard working board members, workers & volunteers! 2021 LSHSRA RODEO FINALS April 30, May 1-2, 2021 Check in on Friday @ NOON: **PLEASE CHECK IN BEFORE UNLOADING** Gate Fee: There will be a 1-time gate fee at the finals to help kick off next year’s rodeo season - $10 PER PERSON FOR THE WEEKEND. Be sure to display your weekend pass in your vehicle window or you will have to pay again to enter the grounds if you leave. Stalls / RV: Are first come first serve & will be available for purchase ON SITE. CASH OR CREDIT CARD ONLY AT CHECK IN. STALLS AND RV’S ARE NON-REFUNDABLE . NO tying out and NO outside shavings allowed. Stalls $25 per night (MUST BUY min 1 BAG OF SHAVINGS PER STALL $5) RVs $30 per night Check In: Will be @ THE MOBILE BUILDING IN THE PARKING LOT, here you will check in, pick up jackets, back numbers and pay for stalls and RVs. Back Numbers: MUST be worn at all times while competing at finals. Finals Rodeo Info: There are 2 performances at finals broken into 3 days. Points are given in round 1, 2 and the average, as well as payout. ** Please pay close attention to the order of events page attached as the order will not be the same as rodeos run this season. Upon completion of the 2 nd performance on Sunday we will take a break, to finish the average points and set up for the awards ceremony. CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY 1.1 Contestant or contestant’s parent/legal guardian, or immediate family must be a current AYLAA MEMBER to be eligible to compete in the AYLAA Summer Series. If you are the guardian of a child, proof of guardianship must be provided. Immediate family is defined by residing in the same household and/or a legal dependent. Lifetime members’ children are only eligible to use their parents’ lifetime membership until the age of 19. Grandchildren are not considered immediate family. o Annual membership fees are $35.00 per family, per year; beginning June 1 and ending May 31. Lifetime membership fees are $200. Organization/Corporate membership fees are $400. o A NON-MEMBER may purchase an entry PERMIT for $10 per week. The non-member will not receive points.     LSHSBA RULE BOOK 2019 --- 2020 Rev.10-1-19 GENERAL RULES Contestants: 1) Contestants must be a LSHSRA member in good standing. All membership forms complete, and fees paid. 2) Every contestant must check the posted draw lists and be responsible as to their stock, draw & position per event 3) All contestants are required to read the rules carefully, particularly those relating to the event in which they enter. 4) All contestants must be 18 years of age or under as of September 1 of the beginning of the rodeo year. Must be single, never married and not have any children. Entry Fees: 1) Checks will be deposited the Monday before the rodeo 2) NO REFUNDS will be given . Exceptions will be made only if the contestant is sick/injured and provides a written statement from a physician given to the rodeo secretary stating contestant's illness or injury . A veterinary draw out must meet the same criteria as a contestant's medical draw out. The rodeo secretary must be notified of such medical /veterinary draw out no later than 7PM the Friday prior to rodeo . You will lose your $10 office charge , if you have a stock charge you will lose that. 3) Late Fees : A $25 late fee will be incurred on all entries received upon completion of the last event of the previous rodeo or after stated receipt date on entry for first rodeo of the season . 4) Entry Deadline : All Entries are due by the completion of the prior rodeo . If you are not entered by that day you will be assessed the $25 late fee to each entry form .

If contestant is unable to compete at finals do to a uncontrolled situation, awards will be given at the board discretion on a case by case basis. There were five individ- uals who put him in a beige Volkswagen. About a month later, his body was found. He had been brutally tortured and murdered. It is out of respect that across this nation, homage was paid to this man. That is how Red Ribbon Week came to be. Even in light of this sad Michael Kelly story behind Red Ribbon Mallorie Thomas enjoys her view of game 4 of the World Series between the Florida Marlins and the New York Yankees.

    Junior Roughstock Association Rules 2020-2021 ORGANIZATION INFORMATION: The Junior Roughstock Association (JRA) is a private organization /DBA under 406 Event Productions LLP that provides a qualification system for paid members to compete for a spot to the Junior World Finals (Rookie, Junior, Senior and Novice age Groups) and the Junior Roughstock Extreme Miniature Finals (PeeWee age Group for all horse riding roughstock events and bull riding events hosted by JRA Contractors and Producers). Ca lf, Sheep and Steer Riding are optional events that can be hosted by local producers. Calf Sheep and Steer Riding champions “may” be crowned on a regional/series level (this would be up to the regional directors). Calf, Steers and Sheep will not be a World Finals Eve nt and will not be required to have a JRA membership card. Buckaroo and lead line events will also be regional events also and will not advance to the Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada or Ogden, Utah. The JRA consists of 10 regions. Each region may have specialized rules and regulations to increase safety of contestants and stock. Deadlines may vary based on region; however, it is recommended that rules and guidelines be followed by all members. All business information that the association chooses to share will be available on juniorrougstockworld.com or on social media sites. Current carded members can request the past finals financials by providing contestant name and parents name at any time. The JRA will consist of a council of owners and advisors allowing a communication and voting system for the youth association.
