Alice What Dan This Will Hurt. I've Been with Anna. I'm in Love with Her
Alice What Dan This will hurt. I've been with Anna. I'm in love with her. We've been seeing each other for a year. It began at her opening. Alice walks away and gets her stuff Alice I'm going Dan I'm sorry Alice Irrelevant. What are you sorry for? Dan Everything Alice Why didn't you tell me before? Dan Cowardice Alice Is it because she is successful? Dan No it's because she doesn't need me. Alice Did you bring her here? Dan Yes Alice Didn't she get married? Dan She stopped seeing me Alice That's when we went to the country to celebrate our third anniversary. Did you phone her, beg her to come back when you went for your long lovely walks? Dan Yes Alice You're a piece of shit. Dan Deception is brutal. I'm not pretending otherwise. Alice How? How does it work. How do you do this to someone? Not good enough. Dan I fell in love with her Alice. Alice Oh as if you had no choice. There's a moment. There's always a moment. I can do this. I can give in to this. And I don't know when your moment was but I bet you there was one. I'm going. Dan It's not safe out there. Alice And it's safe in here? Dan What about your things? Alice I don't need things. Dan Where will you go? Alice I'll disappear. (beat) Can I still see you? Dan can I still see you? Answer me. -

INFORMATION TO USERS This was produced from a copy of a document sent to us for microfilming. While the most advanced technological means to photograph and reproduce this document have been used, the quality is heavily dependent upon the quality of the material submitted. The following explanation of techniques is provided to help you understand markings or notations which may appear on this reproduction. 1. The sign or “target” for pages apparently lacking from the document photographed is “Missing Page(s)”. If it was possible to obtain the missing page(s) or section, they are spliced into the film along with adjacent pages. This may have necessitated cutting through an image and duplicating adjacent pages to assure you of complete continuity. 2. When an image on the film is obliterated with a round black mark it is an indication that the film inspector noticed either blurred copy because of movement during exposure, or duplicate copy. Unless we meant to delete copyrighted materials that should not have been filmed, you will find a good image of the page in the adjacent frame. 3. When a map, drawing or chart, etc., is part of the material being photo graphed the photographer has followed a definite method in “sectioning” the material. It is customary to begin filming at the upper left hand comer of a large sheet and to continue from left to right in equal sections with small overlaps. If necessary, sectioning is continued again—beginning below the first row and continuing on until complete. 4. For any illustrations that cannot be reproduced satisfactorily by xerography, photographic prints can be purchased at additional cost and tipped into your xerographic copy. -
Miss Me but Let Me Go the Life of One We Love Those Who Love
Miss Me But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun is set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul like me Miss me a little, but not too long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared Miss me --- but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take And each must go alone For it is part of the Master's plan A step on the road to home When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss me --- but let me go. The life of one we love The life of one we love is never lost ... its influence goes on through all the lives it ever touched. Christopher Halloway Those Who Love It's always those who love the most Who most miss one they love, When comes the parting of the ways, And clouds loom dark above; But tears will pass, your skies will clear Then will you smile again, And comfort find in memories, Which now bring bitter pain. Learning To Fly The walls of birth and death were too high for me to see over and I didn’t know that my heart had wings. As I hammered on those walls, demanding to know their meaning, I was aware that there was something inside me cramped up, waiting to be unfurled……. In that moment I saw that the meaning of birth is forgetting the meaning of death is remembering the meaning of life is growth and the meaning of the eternal sea which holds everything in its embrace is Love. -
Images of Women in Early Twentieth-Century Popular Song
Between the Sheets: Images of Women in Early Twentieth‐Century Popular Song Stephanie Tingler and Kevin Kelly, University of Georgia Southeastern Music Library Association, Nashville, TN 12 October 2013 Girl of Mine (1917; A.J. Stasny) Words and Music by Harold B. Freeman; also authored “The Land of Make Believe,” “A Letter from No Man’s Land” and “Just a Girl Like You.” Started his own publishing firm circa 1919 after leaving Stasny. Verse 1 I know a garden filled with roses rare, roses fair grow ev’rywhere, A land of peaches cream and honeymoon, love breezes blowing, That’s where I’m going, I know a little girl whom I adore, Day by day, I love her more When Mister Moon shines, why I want to spoon, and softly to her this tale croon: Verse 2 You ought to see my little moonlight Rose, I love her from head to toes, You ought to see those golden braids of hair, A smile like sunshine, it makes your heart pine, You ought to see those light blue angel eyes, Just like stars in paradise Then you’d be waiting just the same as I, to sing this little lullaby: Chorus Rose of my moonlight dreams, dear, I’m waiting just for you; To me this whole world seems, dear, a paradise for two, You know not how I love you, I swear by stars above you, You know my heart is mighty lonely dear, all day I wish that you were only here, Rose of my moonlight dreams, dear, dear little girl of mine. -
