The Folk Project March 2019 www.FolkProject.org TM Cliff Eberhardt & Betsy Rose A House Concert & Musical Celebration Cliff Eberhardt is more than a fabulous and nationally-important performer. He’s a special man with a special interest in the folk music community in general and The Folk Project in particular. Cliff sees us—you, our little local culture core—as crystallizing the greatness of what happens when good people come together to make music together. You can join Cliff, performing with Louise Mosrie, to celebrate and support us—you, our Folk Project—on Saturday, March 2nd, at 7:30pm at the home of Mark & Robin Schaffer in Rockaway, NJ. Your $25 admission will support the new and improved Acoustic Getaway. Cliff’s pitching in. How about you? Betsy Rose is a monument to what one woman can do with a golden voice, a good song, and a brass attitude. Betsy’s blues are direct and devastating. Survivors are smitten for life. Her backup band, The Chicago Fire, are ace musicians who serve her every whim. There will be an after-concert party. Bring an instrument, your voice, and food to share. For tickets and information, visit the carousel on the Folk Project home page or call Mark at 201/207-8696. You Can Still Getaway! Getaway’s new adult site instigated an unprecedented initial registration avalanche—83% full in four days—so we are opening our doors a little wider by adding more beds for more Folk Project members. Due to the miracles of modern math, we’re merely 71% full in four days. Significant Takeaways: The new site has Project members excited. The Getaway-curious are finally taking the short step to the registration button. And musicians with non-musician partners have found a romantic weekend away they both can share. There is a nationally-honored “mini-Tanglewood” in your own backyard, but with 1/10th the people at 1/10th the price, Don’t overlook it. $249 pays for all the food, lodging, community and music you want. Go to getaway.folkproject.org and click the registration button. It’s a small step for a man and a giant leap for your weekend of pleasure.
