While Smog’s “Your Face” heavily reminisces the Flaming Lips and Desert Storm’s “New Trition” could easily be a Pixies song, they both remain enjoyable numbers. Although Hey Drag City compiles works by some of today’s better rock artists, most of the featured bands have longer, more complete releases worth checking out. On the other hand, for admirers of thelabel’s catalogue, this collection is a must-have. ..
