Entertainment galore at the Old Town Festival The Old Town Festival lasts two weeks: Traditionally, it is opened by the Lord Mayor tapping the first keg of beer on the main stage. A brass band starts the event off right. The whole family can then enjoy music, food and rides for the children. At the nearby Katharinenkloster, concerts round out the program and on the main market square you'll find the Nuremberg Autumn Market with art and crafts and traditional culinary delights. .
