Camp overnight in the forest by temple ruins A safari outside the center of Siem Reap offers views of typical Khmer Explore ancient Koh Ker, a fascinating set of ruins countryside and remote jungle landscapes. On the last day, you’ll plunge into colorful surroundings of grass meadows, limestone clears and deep jungle, to the exceptional site of Srah Dumrei. On our way back to Siem Reap, we'll stop at Kbal Spean, the river of the “thousand lingas”.

Day 1 : SIEM REAP - BENG MEALEA - KOH KER (-/L/D)

Morning, drive by 4 WD to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60 km from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in the drive as it takes you through many lively villages and along kilometers of rice paddies. Explore the long abandoned temple (11th century), strangled by the jungle. Lunch box will be provided at the site. Depart for Koh Ker. A 10th century capital abandoned in the remote north of Cambodia for more than a thousand years. The team sets up camp while you enjoy a visit to the pyramid temple of Prasat Thom. Continue to explore the many temples at this incredible site, including the beautiful Prasat Krahom covered by jungle Dinner will be provided at the site. Day 2 : KOH KER - PHNOM KULEN (B/L/D)

Transfer by 4 WD to Phnom Kulen and join the pilgrim path to walk up this sacred mountain of the Khmers. Swim in the waterfall and carry on to the summit of the mountain to a pagoda for the overnight camp. Dinner will be provided at the site. Camp overnight on the mountain. 3h trekking with an average level of 300 m. OPTION no trekking available by vehicle transfer to the camp

Day 3 : PHNOM KULEN- KBAL SPEAN - BANTEAY SREI - SIEM REAP (B/L/-)

At early morning plunge into a colorful surrounding such as high grass meadow, limestone clears and deep jungle, to discover the exceptional site of Srah Dumrei, immense monolith sandstone of the 10th century representing elephants and lions, lost in the deep jungle. Leave the summit of the mountain with a 4 WD for Kbal Spean, the sculptured river of the "thousand lingas". Visit site by walking. Carry on by vehicle up to the temple and village of Banteay Srei. Visit this temple and return to Siem Reap before nightfall. 3-4h of trekking with an average level of +/-150m includes excludes
