SECTION IV - FIRST AID MEASURES

INHALATION: If inhaled, remove from area to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Get immediate medical attention. Due to low volatility, significant exposure to isocyanate vapours is not expected unless over-heated or sprayed. Excessive inhalation can produce irritation of the nose, throat and respiratory tract. Excessive and extensive exposure to isocyanate vapours can produce reversible symptoms of bronchitis. Sensitized individuals will develop asthma-like symptoms at low exposure. Individuals suffering from asthma or other chronic respiratory conditions may exhibit a heightened sensitivity to isocyanates and should avoid inhalation exposure. INGESTION : Irritation and possible corrosive action in the mouth, stomach tissue and digestive tract. May also result in gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
