Summarizing all changes, a total of 1062 taxa are presently known. Furthermore, based on the Böschenstein collection (Museum zu Allerheiligen, Schaffhausen), erroneous deter- minations by Gustav Stierlin could be detected and are reported herein. Keywords: Coleoptera, Curculionoidea, supplement, checklist, Switzerland.

Anthribidae, Platypodidae et Scolytidae) von Peter Sprick & Jürgen Schmidl Abstract: The Checklist of Bavarian Weevils (Curculionoidea excl. Anthribidae, Platypodidae et Scolytidae)lists 778 species which are documented. Records of another 15 species are accounted imported, doubtful or wrong. The list is supplemented with the Red Data Book status of Bavaria and Germany, respectively. Changes and additions occurring since the Bavarian weevil list 2003 (Sprick et al., 2003, [2004]) are resumed.

Abstract We summarize knowledge of the weevil tribe Cleonini worldwide, including its monophyly, relationships, distribution, biology, immature stages, economic significance and paleontology. We score adult morphological characters for 79 of a total of 96 extant genus-group Cleonini taxa considered valid to date. The resulting matrix contains 121 parsimoniously informative characters scored for 145 ingroup (Cleonini) and 29 outgroup terminals. Maximum Parsimony (MP) and Bayesian Inference (BI) analyses consistently recover monophyletic Lixinae and Cleonini. Relationships within the latter remain unresolved with either 47 (BI) or 37 (MP) branches radiating from the tribe’s most recent common ancestor.

Agriculture & Forestry, Vol. 62 Issue 3: 73-91, 2016, Podgorica 73 DOI: 10.17707/AgricultForest.62.3.07 Halil BOLU 1 SOUTHEASTERN ANATOLIA REGION INSECT FAUNA I (COLEOPTERA II: CURCULIONOIDEA, TENEBRIONOIDEA) OF TURKEY SUMMARY The aim of this study was to determine Insect fauna Southeastern Anatolia Region. Surveys on insect species in various ecologies have been conducted in the provinces (Adıyaman, Batman, Gaziantep, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Siirt, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak) of Southeastern Anatolia region between the years 1948-2013. Almost 2600 species and subspecies among 180 families belonging to 13 insect orders are defined owing to these studies. Coleoptera species formed about 20% of the collected insects. Coleoptera included 32 families were recorded. During this study totally 248 species were found in 9 families and in 2 superfamilies of Coleoptera. Those superfamilies are Curculionoidea and Tenebrionoidea. The distribution of determined insect types according to the provinces, plant hosting and feeding type is also done. Information about their identification, host plants, and distribution in Southeastern Anatolia Region was presented as detailed. Keywords: Insect Fauna, Coleoptera, Curculionoidea, Tenebrionoidea, Turkey. INTRODUCTION Insects (Insecta) are the most numerous group of animals in the world, with over one million species that have been described (Price, 1997). Insects are difficult to study because they represent the most species-rich, yet one of the least known, of all taxa of living organisms, a problem that is compounded by a dearth of skilled entomologists. Although the number of described insect species is uncertain due to synonyms and the lack of a global list, most authorities recognize 900 000–1 000 000 named morpho-species, representing 56% of all species known on Earth (Groombridge, 1992; Anonymous, 2003).

The Beetles (Coleoptera) of mosaic biotopes in the Kamenica nad Hronom village (south Slovakia). Entomofauna carpathica, 31(1): 59-74. Abstract: This contribution deals with diversity of beetle fauna of mosaic biotopes (xerotermic steppe, forest, vineyards) in the vicinity of Kamenica nad Hronom (Burda Mts.) of south Slovakia. The survey contains 381 beetles species, including the typical indicators Mecaspis alternans, Brachysomus villosus, Ocypus picipennis, Sisyphus schaefferi and Cryptophagus saginatus. Key words: beetles, mosaics biotops, south Slovakia ÚVOD Južné Slovensko a najmä okolie Štúrova v minulosti priťahovalo množstvo entomológov a inak tomu nie je ani dnes. Tvorí ju najjužnejší výbežok andezitovej pahorkatiny medzi Hronom, Dunajom a Ipľom.

Yu., Putchkov, A. V., Komaromi, N. A. — Species composition, the ecological structure and the occurrence characteristics of weevils (Curculionoidea) in the stratobios of the main urban habitats of Kharkiv were studied. 59 species from 41 genera and three families were registered. Curculionoidea comprises 31.5 % of the coleopterofauna of stratobios. Approximately 10 species are attributed to dominants (2–3 species are eudominants). 40 species are ranked as random and 9 species are rare in the stratobios. 4 species of Curculionoidea (Cyanapion columbinum, Curculio rubidus, Otiorhynchus albidus, Tropiphorus micans) are recorded for the fi rst time in the Left bank forest- steppe zone of Ukraine. Th e values of the main indices of species diversity were low, which may indicate a signifi cant oligodominance of Curculionoidea in all urban habitats.
