The Beetles (Coleoptera) of mosaic biotopes in the Kamenica nad Hronom village (south Slovakia). Entomofauna carpathica, 31(1): 59-74. Abstract: This contribution deals with diversity of beetle fauna of mosaic biotopes (xerotermic steppe, forest, vineyards) in the vicinity of Kamenica nad Hronom (Burda Mts.) of south Slovakia. The survey contains 381 beetles species, including the typical indicators Mecaspis alternans, Brachysomus villosus, Ocypus picipennis, Sisyphus schaefferi and Cryptophagus saginatus. Key words: beetles, mosaics biotops, south Slovakia ÚVOD Južné Slovensko a najmä okolie Štúrova v minulosti priťahovalo množstvo entomológov a inak tomu nie je ani dnes. Tvorí ju najjužnejší výbežok andezitovej pahorkatiny medzi Hronom, Dunajom a Ipľom. Podložie tvoria andezity, niektoré časti andezitov vznikali pod vodou vulkanickou činnosťou. Centrum vulkanitov je v Maďarsku v pohoriach Pilis a Börzsony. Územie tu 59 Entomofauna carpathica, 2019, 31(1): 59-74 budujú vulkanoklastické horniny, ktoré vznikli spevnením sopečných vyvrelín (sopečný prach, popol, piesok, sopečné balvany). Miestami vystupuje sopečná hornina aj na povrch. Výsledkom zvetrávania (mráz a voda) v kvartéri sú strmé skalné steny, kužeľovité formy a kamenné moria, sutiny. Osobitý ráz tvoria sedimenty vápenca na vulkanitoch VESELÝ (1954) Klimaticky patrí Burda medzi najteplejšie a najsuchšie polohy Slovenska. Priemerná ročná teplota 10,3 °C, ročný úhrn zrážok je 580-600 mm (VESELÝ (1954). Najvyšší vrchol je bezmenný kopec 395 m n.m., dominantou je vrch Burdov 388 m n.m. Na území je najsevernejší výskyt mnohých druhov pontických rastlín a živočíchov. Lesy sú charakteristické teplomilnými dúbravami s dubom cerovým, Quercus pubescens, Carpinus betulus, Fraxinus ornus. Na presvetlených miestach rastú xerotermofilné druhy rastlín: Vinca herbacea, Adonis vernalis, Convolvulus cantabricus, Althaea cannabina, Minuartia fastigiata, Salvia aethiops, Minuartia glomerata, Vicia sparsiflora, Phlomis tuberosa, Dictamnus albus, Waldsteinia geoides, Latyrus pannonicus, Stipa pulcherrima, Stipa stenophylla, Echium rubrum, Gagea minima ai. Stepný charakter plochy S1 s bohatým porastom kavyľa (obr. 1). Kry tvoria najmä ruže (Rosa sp.), Prunus avium ďalej Colutea arborescens, Stapyhlea pinnata, Amygdalis nana, Euonymus verrucosa a iné (VESELÝ 1954) Obr. 1. V blízkosti železničnej trati sme exponovali zemné pasce v troch typoch vinohradov: obrábaný (č. 6), čiastočne opustený (č. 7) a viac rokov neobrábaný (č. 8). V prirodzených habitatoch sme založili 3 línie pascí na stepi (č. 1, 2 a 3) a dve línie v zatienených lesných habitatoch (č. 4 a 5). Ďalšie charakteristicky plôch sú uvedené v tabuľke 1. Ukončenie výberu zemných pascí bolo 17.4.2019, tak sme zabezpečili sledovanie celoročného cyklu (vrátane zimných mesiacov). Obr. 2. Obrábaný vinohrad (plocha č. 6) ako plocha vytvorená človekom. Na xerotermoch boli typické druhy: Hetaerius ferrugineus, Choleva spinipennis, Ptinus dubius, Combocerus glaber, Tetrabrachys connatus, Dorcadion pedestre, Coniocleonus nigrosuturatus, Romualdinus angustisetulosus a iné. Tieto plochy vykazujú najnižšie hodnoty druhovej identity s ostatnými plochami. Len plocha č. 3 a plochy č. 4 a 6 majú hladinu podobnosti 0,2 (tab. 3). 3). Plochy vo vinohradoch (typ V) Tieto plochy reprezentujú zmenené pôvodné biotopy lesného a stepného charakteru na svahoch pohoria Burdy mimo rezervácie. Tri plochy reprezentujú rôzny typy vinohradov. Charakteristické druhy chrobákov sú: Carabus cancellatus, Carabus coriaceus, Pseudoophonus rufipes, Onthophagus ruficapillus, Oxyomus sylvestris, Opatrum sabulosum, Bothynoderes affinis a 62 Entomofauna carpathica, 2019, 31(1): 59-74 iné. Z typických epigeických druhov možno hodnotiť Carabus coriaceus, Carabus ullirichi a Carabus cancellatus, ktoré migrujú hlavne z lesa stepi. Hladina druhovej identity chrobákov je nízka u plochách vo vinohradoch avšak najvyššie zo všetkých porovnávaných plôch. Medzi plochami č. 7, 8 a 6 je 0,1 a 0,2. Medzi ostatnými plochami je najnižšia až nulová (tab. 3). Epigeické druhy, ktoré sa vyskytli len vo vinohradoch sú napr. Callistus lunatus, Bradycellus caucasicus, Clivina collaris, Pterostichus hungaricus, Staphylinus caesareus, Onthophagus taurus, Necrobia violacea, Bothynoderes affinuis, Gymnetron veronicae, Otiorhynchus orbicularis a iné. V zemnej pasci sme náhodne zaznamenali aj fuzáča Callimoxis gracilis. Obrábaný vinohrad (plocha 6, obr. 2) pod pohorím Burda je refúgiom niektorých lesných s stepných druhov chrobákov. V pasciach sme zaznamenali aj viaceré faunisticky zaujímavé druhy iných bezstavovcov, napr. Gryllus campestris na stepi, Boreus hiemalis na ploche č. 4 v mesiaci február (2 ex.), Scutigerella coleoptrata na stepných plochách (12 ex). Tabuľka 3. Munis Entomology & Zoology, 5 (2): 380-498] ABSTRACT: All taxa of the tribe Dorcadiini Latreille, 1825 in Turkey are evaluated and summarized with zoogeographical remarks. Also Dorcadion praetermissum mikhaili ssp. n. is described in the text. KEY WORDS: Dorcadion, Neodorcadion, Dorcadiini, Lamiinae, Cerambycidae, Coleoptera, Turkey. The main aim of this work is to clarify current status of the tribe Dorcadiini in Turkey. The work on Turkish Dorcadiini means to realize a study on about one third or one fourth of Turkish Cerambycidae fauna. As the same way, Turkish Dorcadiini is almost one second or one third of Dorcadiini in the whole world fauna. Turkish Dorcadiini is a very important group. This importance originated from their high endemism rate, and also their number of species. However, the information on all Turkish Dorcadiini is not enough. The first large work on Dorcadiini species was carried out by Ganglbauer (1884). He evaluated a total of 152 species of the genus Dorcadion and 13 species of the genus Neodorcadion. He gave 30 Dorcadion species and 4 Neodorcadion species for Turkey. Then, the number of Turkish Dorcadion species raised to 53 with 23 described species by Heyden (1894), Ganglbauer (1897), Jakovlev (1899), Daniel (1900, 1901), Pic (1895, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1905, 1931), Suvorov (1915), Plavilstshikov (1958).

A survey on the occurrence of Longhorn-beetles in the Province of South Tyrol-Bolzano is given. The first monograph of the Longhorn-beetles (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) of the fauna of South Tyrol (N-Italy: Province Bozen-Bolzano) was published by the Author back in 1967. Over 40 years later, a current up- dated and revised edition is given, where also incisive changes and innovations on the valid actual scientific nomenclature of species that occurred since the first edition are considered. Scientific nomenclature follows the recent publications of BENSE (1995), JANIS (2001) and FAUNA EUROPAEA (2007/09) respectively. Detailed descriptions of the presence and biology of some Cerambycid species are given for the first time. Also a historical review of Cerambycid-studies in South-Tirol is given. Apart from the own recent collec- tions and observations made by the Author during the last 45 years, further considered were the findings and rearing results of five other collectors and colleagues, operating here for the last decades, like: M. Kahlen (Hall i.Tirol), W. Schwienbacher (Auer), M. Egger (Innsbruck), E. Niederfriniger (Schenna) und G. v. Mörl (Brixen). In the special faunistic section, the review of each species begins with brief indications about general geographical distribution in Europe and about ecological occurrence, and continues subsequently with a mention of the former indications given by V. M.

  • Diversity and Seasonal Patterns of Longhorn Beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in the Zselic Region, Hungary
NORTH-WESTERN JOURNAL OF ZOOLOGY 11 (1): 62-69 ©NwjZ, Oradea, Romania, 2015 Article No.: 141105 http://biozoojournals.ro/nwjz/index.html Diversity and seasonal patterns of longhorn beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in the Zselic region, Hungary Sándor KESZTHELYI Department of Plant Production and Protection, Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Kaposvár University, S. Guba str. 40., H-7400 Kaposvár, Hungary, E-mail: [email protected] Received: 6. December 2013 / Accepted: 2. August 2014 / Available online: 01. January 2015 / Printed: June 2015 Abstract. This study aims to assess the abundance and diversity of Cerambycid beetles (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in different types of habitats (urbanized, natural oak forest, herbaceous and mixed forest) of the Zselic region in Hungary. Beetles were collected by sweep netting and hand collecting. Species richness and diversity were analyzed for the different habitats. Temporal data also contributed to a better knowledge of the flight period and ecology of the captured species and specimens. A total of 69 species were identified during the sampling period (2009–2013). The period of adult flight activity was from the second week of May until the second week of June. Plagionotus arcuatus L., Dorcadion aethiops Scopoli and Strangalia melanura Fabricius were the most abundant species. The most diverse habitat type was mixed forest (Simpson Index= 0.9443; Shannon Index= 1.4373), and the least diverse one was the urbanized environment (Simpson Index= 0.4141; Shannon Index= 0.5111). The differences in diversity might be explained by the heterogeneity of potential host plants available in the different habitats. Correspondence and cluster analyses revealed that different habitats were associated with distinct beetle assemblages.

Asias ephippium (Steven & Dalman, 1817), Leptura aethiops Poda, 1761 and Stictoleptura tesserula (Charpentier, 1825), previously recorded probably due to misidentification, are excluded from the Albanian Cerambycid fauna, records regarding Monochamus sartor (Fabricius, 1787) and M. sutor (Linnaeus, 1758) need verification. Distribution range, collecting localities and dates, are provided for each species. The new synonymy Dorcadion (Pedestredorcadion) macedonicum (Jurecek, 1929) = D. glabriscapus (Breuning, 1943) is proposed. Key words: Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Albania, new synonymy.
