Please note three errata on page 42 of They Represent You:
1. Delete the sentence "A new card will be issued if you change your address or party enrollment".
2. This paragraph should be inserted under the line ending "...if you change your name or address.": If you change your address, or party enrollment, the BOE will send you an Approval Notice or a Transfer Notice. The required Annual August mailing includes a "Peel-Off" card that includes your party enrollment, Election District, Assembly District, Congressional District, State Senatorial District, City Council District, and Civil Court District.
3. On the right side of the page, under "Voting," the paragraph should be replaced by: The Board of Elections is required by NY State Election Law to "send by mail...between August 1st and August 5th of each year," to each active registered voter, a communication notifying voters of their Election District and poll site location for both the Primary and General Elections.
