Virginia Beach/Norfolk Area Calendar of Events We are conveniently located in the city center area off of I-264, just six miles to Norfolk International Airport and only 10 miles to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, which makes us centrally located to several attractions and fun things to do. Here are some fun filled events going on near our Virginia Beach hotel: Beach Street USA, Virginia Beach Oceanfront Various festivals and concerts located at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront all year long. Busch Gardens & Water Country USA, Williamsburg Amusement and Water Parks opens in the spring until the fall. Farm Bureau Live Amphitheater at Virginia Beach An outdoor concert venue that can seat 20,000 and hosts several concerts are scheduled from May – September, 2013. 31st Annual Jazz Festival, Downtown Norfolk July 19 – 21, 2013, three days of music. Rock 'n' Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon and American Music Festival August 30 – September 2, 2013 Half Marathon takes place Sunday and Music Festival is all weekend long. Neptune Festival, Virginia Beach September 27 – 29, 2013. Daily concerts at festival stages are scattered along the boardwalk and feature a variety of live music, outdoor shopping and dining. AT&T Town Point Virginia Wine Festival, Downtown Norfolk 26th Annual Event October 19 – 20, 2013. McDonald's Holiday Lights at the Beach Holiday Light show along the Oceanfront from November 15 – January, 1 2014 beginning at 2nd Street and ending at 34th Street. Norfolk Admirals Hockey, The Scope Downtown Norfolk American Hockey League team affiliated with the Anaheim Ducks. Norfolk Tides Baseball, Downtown Norfolk The Tides are the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. .

I John Babcock just marked my third year as Executive Director of Seton Youth Shelters, Immediate and it is an honor to serve in this capacity. 2015 also marked the start Past President of Seton Youth Shelters 30th year of serving runaway, homeless and Michael A. Inman, Esq. at-risk youth in our region and beyond. And, in those 30 years, we have changed the lives of more than 250,000 youth for the better. Daniel Barton, D.D.S. Diana Breuss This past year, we provided thousands of shelter nights, meals and Chuck Gray support services, and mentoring partnerships to our region’s youth.
