LOCAL ISSUES The adjacent map shows the eight HS2 Ltd designated Community Forum Areas (CFAs) in the county of Buckinghamshire. The communities and organisations that have an interest in these areas have come together with a desire to play an active and meaningful role in the consultation process. These groups submitted varied and detailed responses to the draft Environmental Statement in order to emphasise what impact HS2 would have on their communities. They also detail what measures need to be taken to avoid, mitigate and compensate negative impacts should the proposed scheme go ahead. Compensation measures should only be used once steps to avoid and minimise have been exhausted. These groups have recently come to the end of reviewing the formal Environmental Statement, and have submitted their responses to Parliament. Analysis of these responses and further discussions has allowed us to build up a clear picture of what Buckinghamshire needs to mitigate and compensate for the damage and disruption caused by the proposed HS2 line. The following tables present this blueprint.
