    Education and Learning Strategy 2018/22 101240 (10.18) Welcome Welcome to Lambeth’s Education and Learning Strategy 2018–22 which looks ahead to the next few years and outlines our shared ambition for our learners of all ages. It has been developed in partnership between schools, other educational establishments and the Council. We want Lambeth to continue to be at the forefront of change and improvement in education, retaining good relationships between education providers and the Council and building on our collective strengths and achievements. We have strong partnerships between schools, colleges, neighbouring authorities, families, local communities and the Council that enable us to work towards securing an autonomous and self- improving education system. This commitment to raising standards is supported by a sound infrastructure of early years provision in our childcare, nursery school and children centre provision. Our charter for education and learning encapsulates our aspirations and ways of working together (see appendix 1, page 8). The overwhelming majority of Lambeth schools have chosen to retain their close working relationship with the Council. In 2017 the Lambeth Schools Partnership was launched to sustain high quality outcomes and excellent teaching and learning across the borough.     ARK ACADEMY’S OFFICIAL MAGAZINE Issue #6 Summer Term 2012 Special Olympic Edition: How Ark Academy is celebrating the London 2012 Olympics through living its values every day. 1 Dear Parents/Carers In this year of the Olympics – I think we can safely say that our sporting successes have surpassed all expectations and as I write there are more honours to be contested – so fingers crossed! We have also just finished the wettest secondary sports day I have ever know (the pictures of primary sports day in sunshine tell a very different story). The competition was excellent – some real athletes in the making – the support of the house teams demonstrated respect and friendship and we all showed true grit, determination and courage to get through such difficult conditions and with absolutely no moaning. I was very proud! So this day demonstrated to me, like the Olympics, was much more than just a sporting competition and the Olympic ideals of respect, excellence, friendship, courage, determination, inspiration and equality really are truly reflected by our four core values. This Olympic edition of the CIVITAS magazine highlights these ideals in a very tangible Ark Academy way. Of course we will all have our own specific memories of the year, from the courage and friendship shown by Year 7 on the Kingswood trip, to the excellence and inspiration of our first music concert in Ark. Unfortunately, my memory is selective, so I really welcome the final CIVITAS edition of 2011/2012 reminding us of all that has happened throughout the year and the sheer extent of engagement by our pupils.

    Planning for Schools Development Plan Document SD8A Consultation Statement 8th July 2015 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 This statement has been prepared in accordance with Regulation 22(1) (c) of the Town and Country Planning (Local development) (England) Regulations 2012 (‘the Regulations’). It details the publication procedures undertaken by the Council for the Planning for Schools Development Plan Document (PfS DPD) in compliance with the Regulations. The statement seeks to show how the local planning authority has prepared the plan in accordance with Regulation 18 and has dealt with any representations received relating to a local plan in accordance with Regulation 20. 1.2 For clarity, this statement has been divided into two sections as follows • Section two deals with representations received at the Initial and Options stage. It sets out which bodies and persons were invited to make representations, details of the consultation and a brief analysis of the representations received. The summary of the main issues and how those issues were addressed is published in the standalone report titled EB4 ‘ Planning for Schools DPD, Issues and Options, Representations Report’ (February 2015). • Section three deals with representations received at the Publication stage. It details the publication procedures undertaken by the Council, the number of representations received and a summary of the main issues raised in the representations. 1.3 This consultation statement is also supplemented by a full summary (Part B – in an excel spreadsheet sheet form) of any Regulation 20 representations received together with the detailed responses and recommendations of the Council. A summary of the spreadsheet will also be provided in the appendices – Appendix D.
