With only a three hour sail from Macinaggio, there is a small old harbour with a safe and clean anchorage to moor should there be no berths available. Day 2: Capraia / Elbe (3 h) The true priceless treasure of the island is found in the beauty and the variety of its landscape: steep ruddy cliffs; secluded, jagged, green inlets; incredibly white beaches touched by a crystal sea; rough mountains and gentle hills speckled with famed bountiful vineyards. Good and safe anchorage inside the bay. Mooring only. Day 3: Elbe / Solenzara (8h30) New artificial harbour offering excellent facilities. Port and starboard light towers mark the entrance there are 450 places of which 150 are reserved for visitors. Day 4: Solenzara / Porto Vecchio (2 h) Yacht and commercial harbour situated at the end of the golf of Porto Vecchio. Easy to enter and approach, one essential condition is that you respect the channel's boys, which are clearly visible. Day 5: Porto Vecchio / Isola della Maddalena (2 h 30) Situated in North Sardinia the Archipel de la Maddalena is one of the most beautiful places within the Mediterranean. If the weather is favourable then you could visit the beautiful islands of Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria. Day 6: Isola della Maddalena / Bonifaccio (2 h) Probably the most spectacular and natural harbour in the Mediterranean with an unforgettable approach and entrance. Nice old town and citadel with an abundance of restaurants. The harbour can become busy in the high season. Day 7: Bonifaccio / Golfe du Valinco (4 h) Situated north of the Cap of Muro and south of the Cap of Campomoro. The Golfe du Valinco offers a traditional and natural place within Corsica to visit, boasting wonderful beaches and spectacular views. Day 8: Golfe du Valinco / Ajaccio (2 h) Rising up from one of the most beautiful gulfs in the world, Ajaccio is a sight that will certainly soothe sore eyes. Stroll through the characterful streets and you will discover a beguiling blend of old and new. Two harbours : Port de l'Amirauté et Port Tino Rossi Day 9: Ajaccio / Cargese (2 h) This small fishing harbour offers very limited space to sailing boats. Small shops are situated in the north village on the top of the hill above the harbour. Cargese is famous for the Greek Orthodox Church of St Marie, facing the Catholic Church that bears the same name. Day 10: Cargese / Golf de Porto (3 h) Small charming harbour with a selection of fine restaurants and a village situated at the top of a hill that you must visit. You cannot go inside with your boat, you would need to anchor. Day 11: Golf de Porto / Calvi (3 h) Beautiful harbour that is easy to enter under almost any conditions. Last stop in order to make any provisioning before you enter and visit the wonderful and fantastic "Reserve de Scondola". Day 12: Calvi / St Florent (3 h) An old and attractive town, situated at the beginning of the famous"desert des Agriates". Water and provisioning can be easily obtained, and you can spend time on the beautiful beaches of "desert des Agriates". Day 13: St Florent / Centuri (3 h) This beautiful fishing harbour is to small to try and enter with a sailing boat, but the anchorage in front of it is extremely pleasant and safe even allowing for strong winds which may blow from SW to NW. This first or last stop near our base in Macinaggio will leave you with pleasant memories of the traditional Corsican fish based food. Day 14: Centuri / Macinaggio (1h30) Day 15: Macinaggio Disembarkation .
