Jeff has a problem: he has a broken leg, so he can’t do anything and he has to be at home all the time. That is when the problem starts. The only entertainment he has is observing the other buildings through the window. In the morning, he looks at a girl in the other building;then, Stella (his doctor and nurse) visits him at home and, at night, his girlfriend Lisa has dinner with him. And that is all he does during the day. But, one day, when Lisa is away, he starts looking through the window and sees Thorwald arguing with his wife.
