Den begåvade singer/songwritern från ”Redwood hoods” signades av Epic Records 2005 och nu är Bareilles aktuell med sin albumdebut "Little Voice", med release den 21 maj. Första singeln ”Love Song” har fått en bra start här i Sverige, den har klättrat upp på Top 10 på Digitallistan, Top 20 i radio och har fått fantastisk respons från lyssnarna. Låten har även använts i 3-reklamerna under flera veckor. Som sångerska och allsidig pianist jämförs Sara Bareilles med artister som Fiona Apple och Norah Jones. 18 år gammal lämnade Bareilles sin hemstad Eureka i California för studier på UCLA i Los Angeles. Hon spenderade större delen av sin skoltid till att skriva poesi och musik och när examen var avklarad var musiken allt för den blivande artisten. Bareilles började uppträda med sitt självskrivna material på öppna spelkvällar och mindre festivaler och år 2003 spelade Bareilles in sin första och delvis egenproducerade demo ”Careful Confessions”, som senare blev grunden till nya albumet ”Little Voice”.
