Perhaps the main impact of this explosion has been accessibility – the paying market for literary prose and verse has always been so tiny that traditional forms of publication have been restricted. Painfully so. But with the coming of the Internet, poems, short prose and even novels are being published all over cyberspace, posted on message boards, delivered by email and stored in databases in unprecedented quantities.
