Books:

‘Lawrence Hill’s Donated books of a personal nature, with LH’s notes inside the books

I have also donated six boxes of books, all black literature. Some French and Spanish books by or about Blacks, but mostly English from Canada, the USA, Europe, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. The boxes contain novels, poetry, short fiction, and non-fiction. I referred to a great many of them in researching and writing my 10 books; others I just read for pleasure. A few were passed on to me by my father or paternal grandfather, both Daniel Hill.’
