The development area for this project is in an industrial park located approximately 3 km from the Hirakata-higashi and Hirakata Gakken interchanges on the Second Keihan Highway, and approximately 1.5 km from Nagao Station on the JR Katamachi Line. The location is suitable for deliveries to the Osaka and Kyoto areas, being located approximately 3 km from National Route 1, a major highway connecting Kyoto and Osaka. Moreover, from the business continuity planning perspective, the Kansai inland area is highly sought-after and considered scarce land resources suitable for logistics facility development. The project includes a whole-building lease to OTT Logistics Co., Ltd. The five-story building (four stories in the warehouse section) will have a gross area of 20,398.12 m2 on a site of 10,629.36 m2. Construction will commence in September 2014, and is scheduled for completion in July 2015. The ORIX Group’s logistics investment business started in 2003, initially focused in the development of BTS facilities. -

Health Economics Review 2013, 3:31 http://www.healtheconomicsreview.com/content/3/1/31 RESEARCH Open Access Impact of specialization in gynecology and obstetrics departments on pregnant women’s choice of maternity institutions Yoshimi Adachi1*, Hiroyasu Iso1, Junyi Shen2, Kanami Ban3, On Fukui4, Hiroyuki Hashimoto5, Takako Nakashima6, Kenichiro Morishige7 and Tatuyoshi Saijo8 Abstract In April 2008, specialization in gynecology and obstetrics departments was introduced in the Sennan area of Osaka prefecture in Japan that aimed at solving the problems of regional provisions of obstetrics services (e.g., shortage of obstetricians, overworking of obstetricians, and provision of specialist maternity services for high-risk pregnancies). Under this specialization, the gynecology and obstetrics departments in two city hospitals were combined and reconstructed into two centers, i.e., the gynecological care center in Kaizuka City Hospital and the prenatal care center in Izumisano City Hospital. This paper investigates to what extent and how this specialization affected pregnant women’s choices of the prenatal care center and other maternity institutions. We used birth certificate data of 15,927 newborns from the Sennan area between April 1, 2007 and March 30, 2010, for Before and After Analysis to examine changes in pregnant women’s choices of maternity institutions before and after the specialization was instituted. Our results indicated that this specialization scheme was, to some extent, successful on the basis of providing maternity services for high-risk pregnancies at the prenatal care center (i.e., Izumisano City Hospital) and having created a positive effect by pregnant women to other facilities in the nearby area. -

Determining a treatment plan and explaining it to patients requires clinicians to clearly understand the clinical features related to the tumor, including SSNHL. To identify the full range of clinical features of VS-associated SSNHL, especially recovery of hearing following multiple episodes of SSNHL and what factors predict recovery and recurrence. A multicenter retrospective chart review was conducted in seven tertiary care hospitals between April 1, 2011, and March 31, 2020. We collected and analyzed dose of administered steroid, pure-tone audiometry results, and brain MRIs of patients diagnosed with VS-associated SSNHL. Seventy-seven patients were included. They experienced 109 episodes of audiogram-confrmed SSNHL. The highest proportion of complete recoveries occurred in patients with U-shaped audiograms. The recovery rates for the frst, second, and third and subsequent episodes of SSNHL were 53.5%, 28.0%, and 9.1%, respectively. Recovery rate decreased signifcantly with increasing number of SSNHL episodes (P =0 .0011; Cochran- Armitage test). After the frst episode of SSNHL, the recurrence-free rate was 69.9% over 1 year and 57.7% over 2 years; the median recurrence time was 32 months. Logarithmic approximation revealed that there is a 25% probability that SSNHL would recur within a year. SSNHL in patients with VS is likely to recur within one year in 25% of cases.
