Fittingly, the chefs who are driving the current golden age feature prominently across the festival programme and at the Hub’s iconic centrepiece, the Dining Dome. This futuristic, igloo-shaped venue debuted last year. As did Gorton Monastery as the venue for the prestigious MFDF Awards. The Awards are back there again for 2019 with the most impressive shortlist in their history. Quite a task to pick winners from so much talent across the 18 categories. Of course the 22nd MFDF is not just about VIP Gala Thank you Dinners and Awards – it’s about enjoying Manchester’s to our sponsors... amazing food and drink scene.
