Passengers carried by domestic airlines during Jan-June, 2018 were 913.95lakhs as agaiist 754.11 lakhs during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering a growth ol21.20o/o. B. Bilateraltalks were held between the delegations of Republic of India and Republic of Indonesia on 19th -20th September, 2018 at New Delhi. The provisions for domestic code share were incorporated in the ASA and 22 domestic points were agreed between the two countries. 2. Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) A. The following cAR have been issued during the month of september, 2018:- (i) CAR Section 7 Series M Part | - Flight Dispatcher Training and Approval. B. The following CAR have been revised during the month of September, 2018:- (i) CAR Section 2 Series F Part lll - lssueA/alidation and renewal of Certificate of Airworthiness. (ii) CAR Section 2 Series F Part Vll - Special Flight permits' of A (iii) CAR Section 2 Series T Part ll - Flight testing of aircraft for which a C had been previously issued. (iv) CAR Section 2 CAR M - Continuing Airworthiness Requirements. (v) CAR Section 7 Series G Part ll - Validation of foreign licenses of Flight Crew. (vi) CAR 21 - Certification Procedures for Aircraft and related products. c. (i) 512 Licenses / Ratings were issued including 07 FATA issued and 278 Endorsements. (ii) 1OSZ Flight Clearances including 03 tourist charter flights issued during the month of September, 2018. Airports Authoritv of lndia (AAl) A. The Airports Authority of India (AAl) has earned a profit of Rs.22T.4b crores after deduction of tax during the month of September, 201g. B. Simulator for Incident Command Management System (ICMS) for Fire Training commissioned at FTC Delhi. c. Inauguration of Jharsuguda Airport (Odisha) - Flagging off - UDAN Flight on Jharsuguda - Raipur Sector by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India in the august presence of Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Governor of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha and Shri Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & lndustry and Civil Aviation on 22nd September,2018. D. Inauguration of Greenfield Airport at Pakyong, Sikkim by the Hon'ble Prime MiniJter of lndia in the presence of Shri Ganga Prasad, Governor, Sikkim, Shri Pawan Chamling, Chief Minister of Sikkim and Shri Sureshh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and CivilAviation on24th September,2018. E. Airports Authority of India, during September-2018, has awarded the work for: (i) Up-gradation of Passenger Terminal Building and Airside Facilities at Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) InternationalAirport, Tamil Nadu. SH : Construction of new terminal building, elevated road along with associated electromechanical, Airport System, lT works including comprehensive maintenance and operation (Package-l) at a cost of Rs. 564.76 crores on 05.09.2018. (ii) Construction of Terminal Building & Associated works at Leh Airport (J&K) at a cost of Rs.323.19 crores on 05.09.2018. 5. Air India Ltd. A. During September 2018, two (02) Periodical or other Inspections of Railways made by the Commissioner of Railway Safety. G. During September 2018,1469 Minor Works and 46 cases of Rolling Stocks (RS) have been sanctioned.     Dated : 7th January 2019 NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION Tender id:- 2019_AAI_20546_1 Subject: “Engagement of firm of Chartered Accountants/CMA for preparation of Accounts of Regional Air Connectivity Fund Trust & its verticals and providing other taxation related services to RACFT.” Brief: The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India launched Regional Connectivity Scheme in Oct 2016 to promote Regional Air Connectivity and designated Airports Authority of India (AAI) as the Implementing Agency for operationalization of the scheme. Airports Authority of India has registered a public charitable trust named “Regional Air Connectivity Fund Trust”(RACFT) to implement the Regional Connectivity Scheme under its overall supervision and administration. Ministry of Civil Aviation has launched a scheme for enhancing air connectivity between Indian States and International Destinations. The scheme is being launched on the request of Govt of Assam and it can be extended to other State Govts. in case of demand. Airports Authority of India is likely to form other Trust/Trusts and manage the schemes under the respective Trusts as per directions of MoCA.
