Passengers carried by domestic airlines during Jan-June, 2018 were 913.95lakhs as agaiist 754.11 lakhs during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering a growth ol21.20o/o. B. Bilateraltalks were held between the delegations of Republic of India and Republic of Indonesia on 19th -20th September, 2018 at New Delhi. The provisions for domestic code share were incorporated in the ASA and 22 domestic points were agreed between the two countries. 2. Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) A. Inauguration of Greenfield Airport at Pakyong, Sikkim by the Hon'ble Prime MiniJter of lndia in the presence of Shri Ganga Prasad, Governor, Sikkim, Shri Pawan Chamling, Chief Minister of Sikkim and Shri Sureshh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and CivilAviation on24th September,2018. Airports Authority of India, during September-2018, has awarded the work for: (i) Up-gradation of Passenger Terminal Building and Airside Facilities at Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) InternationalAirport, Tamil Nadu. SH : Construction of new terminal building, elevated road along with associated electromechanical, Airport System, lT works including comprehensive maintenance and operation (Package-l) at a cost of Rs. 564.76 crores on 05.09.2018.
