Directions to “Brimin Lodge” DIRECTIONS TO “BRIMIN LODGE” FROM MELBOURNE: North on Hume Freeway from Melbourne. Pass the Benalla, Yarrawonga and Wangaratta exits Take the Beechworth/Bright (B500 road) exit from Hume Freeway to your left (towards Wangaratta). After about 500 meters you cross a bridge. Just a few meters after this bridge turn right onto small bitumen road. (Called Detour road) Follow this road for a few kilometers then across the old Hume highway, then after a number of kilometers you pass through Boorahman, then East Peechelbah (just silos), and finally you come to the Murray Valley Highway at a T intersection. (About 35 kms from Hume freeway) Turn left (towards Yarrawonga) and travel for a few hundred meters and just past “Warrabilla” winery you will see Brimin Road. Turn right off the highway onto Brimin Road. There is no sign to Brimin Lodge on the highway. “Brimin Lodge” is right at the end of Brimin Road- about 3 kms of bitumen then 3 kms of gravel. Turn right at the end of Brimin Road through the large steel gates. OR: (slightly longer option) Take the Wangaratta exit from the Hume Highway. In the middle of Wangaratta take the road to Yarrawonga. After about 35 kms this road meets the Murray Valley Highway at a T intersection. Turn right and travel for 8 kms and you will see Brimin Road on your left. If you get to “Warrabilla” winery you have gone a few hundred meters too far. Travel to the end of Brimin Road as described above. FROM YARRAWONGA: Travel for 27 kms on Murray Valley Highway towards Rutherglen/Wodonga. You will see Brimin Road on your left. If you get to Warrabilla winery you have gone a few hundred meters too far. Travel along Brimin Road to the very end and turn right into “Brimin Lodge”. FROM WODONGA: Take the Murray Valley Highway exit from the Hume Freeway (about 15 kms from Wodonga). Travel to Rutherglen. Continue through the town on the Murray Valley highway towards Yarrawonga.
