FOR THE CONSECRATION OF OUR NATION To Mary –

Rosary Across America Adapted from the Patriotic by a Friend of Medjugorje 563 999 1262 ~ 12:30 west coast - 3:30pm east coast [email protected] – Send us a picture of yourself or your group praying today! (Steve and Vicki) We beg you our Blessed Mother to be with us and shelter us in your Immaculate Heart! Mary – Protect Archbishop Gomez asked for "Our Lady’s continued protection of the vulnerable, healing of the unwell and wisdom for those who work to cure this terrible virus.”

Also - it is the first Friday, so we ask to rest in the Sacred Heart of Jesus And – today is the feast day of St Joseph the Worker – and patron of families! This pandemic gives us the opportunity to recognize that the dignity of work comes not from the wealth, power or fame it brings, but from the good it provides to our community. Grocery workers, truck drivers, nurses, health care workers, military and safety provides, farmers and civil servants, among others, are essential to a healthy society, and our current situation is making that clear. Let us turn to St. Joseph and ask for his intercession for all workers, and especially for the unemployed and that we can all get back to meaningful work as soon as possible. St Joseph, protect and strengthen our families and bless our fathers!

(Steve and Vicki) Prayer: We also come before you Mary Our Mother as a people and nation stricken with sins that separate us from God and each other. Realizing the gravity of our sins, we reject our culture that ignores God and glorifies all that is sensual, secular, and material. We surrender our lives and country to you and seek to abandon our sin. We ask for forgiveness for our personal sins, the collective sins of the nation and those of the Church. Let us never be blind to our transgressions and let us always show mercy and forgiveness to those who hurt us. Blessed Mother, we are sincere in our desire to belong to you and your Divine Son. Help us to keep our deep gratitude for our church, our families and our lives – and not to return to “normal” of our complacency and sinful ways. Purify us by our present sufferings, and help us always hunger for Jesus in the Eucharist! Blessed Mother – help us become a nation that would please your Son – teach as our mother to keep on the right path towards salvation and a renewed nation focused on Jesus! (Adapted from article by John Horvat II)

(Mike C) Sign of the Cross - For an End to the pandemic and a cure for Covid 19

(Mike C) The Apostles' Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy , the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope, to thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears; turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation; grant we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sign of the Cross

(Dave) “Soldiers! Let us humble ourselves before the Lord, our God, asking through Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, beseeching the aid of the God of our forefathers in the defense of our homes and our liberties, thanking Him for His past blessings, and imploring their continuance upon our cause and our people.”

“Knowing that intercessory prayer is our mightiest weapon and the supreme call for all Christians today, I pleadingly urge our people everywhere to pray. Believing that prayer is the greatest contribution that our people can make in this critical hour, I humbly urge that we take time to pray - to really pray.”

“Let there be prayer at sunup, at noonday, at sundown, at midnight - all through the day. Let us pray for our children, our youth, our aged, our pastors, our homes. Let us pray for the churches.”

“Let us pray for ourselves, that we may not lose the word ‘concern’ out of our Christian vocabulary. Let us pray for our nation. Let us pray for those who have never known Jesus Christ and His redeeming love, for moral forces everywhere, for our national leaders. Let prayer be our passion. Let prayer be our practice.” General Robert E Lee, 1863 Closing Comments: (Janice) GOD BLESS AMERICA God bless America. Land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her, Through the night with the light from above. From the mountains to the prairies To the oceans white with foam. God bless America. My home sweet home.
