M/Y Exuma 7 Day Charter Thailand Itinerary Thailand M/Y Exuma 7 day charter THAILAND itinerary thailand Cruising area Kawthaung Surin Islands Similan Islands Phang Nga Bay Krabi Patong Bay 49.91m ⁄ 163’09” ⁄ picchiotti M/Y Exuma itinerary thailand Phang Nga Bay Phang Nga Bay itinerary Day 01 The suggested departure point for a seven-day cruise from Phuket would be the Yacht Haven Marina, on the northeastern corner of the island. The marina is located just 15 minutes from Phuket International airport. Once guests are on board, cruise to Phang Nga Bay (15nm). Famous for its 100 or so monolithic limestone kast islets, the area offers breathtaking scenery and is classed as a World Heritage Site. Some of the attractions include sea kayaking among the islands and a visit to a traditional stilted Muslim shing village called Koh Panyi. But probably most famous of all the highlights is James Bond Island, featured in The Man with the Golden Gun. M/Y Exuma itinerary thailand Krabi Krabi itinerary Days 02-03 An hour’s sail southeast from Phang Nga is the Province of Krabi. Similar in many respects to Phang Nga bay, Krabi also offers stunning limestone islands, but adds some beautiful powder white beaches and clearer water for snorkeling and scuba diving. Krabi’s mainland tourist resort town of Ao Nang others world-class hotels and resorts. Within the coastal boundaries of Krabi lie some dream islands. Phi Phi Lay and Phi Phi Don are probably the most recognizable and beautiful, but farther to the south are Lanta Yai and Lanta Noi islands. Lanta offers a couple of great dive sites known as Hin Daeng. M/Y Exuma itinerary thailand Patong Bay Patong Bay itinerary Days 04-05 After three days at sea, now could be a good time to offer guests a chance to visit some of Phuket’s better known resort areas. Patong Bay is always a popular outing. Souvenir shopping, fine restaurants, tailors, good jewelry shops, massage parlors and a vibrant street atmosphere are all part of the Patong culture. Venturing ashore in the evening, guests can witness some rather extraordinary shows and cabaret acts; however, these should be undertaken at captain’s discretion and charter guests’ preference. Local yacht agents are happy to give guidance. Phuket has five championship standard golf courses. Send the guests for a round of golf followed by a treatment at one of the island’s many top quality spas. M/Y Exuma itinerary thailand Similan Islands Similan Islands itinerary Day 06 The Similan Islands lie approximately 100 kilometers northwest of Phuket in the Andaman Sea. In 1982, the 128-square-kilometer area comprising the Similans was declared a marine national park. In recent years this group of nine small islands has become one of the leading attractions of Southern ailand. The group is rated as one of the top 10 dive areas in the world. During the high season diver visibility can be between 30 and 50 meters. Manta rays, whale sharks and other popular pelagics can all be found here. Other activities include beaches, small treks and swimming. In the evening, make an overnight passage to the Surin Islands (48 nm). M/Y Exuma itinerary thailand Surin Islands Kawthaung Surin Islands itinerary Day 07 The Koh Surin archipelago is a 135-square-kilometer area lying in the Andaman Sea 53 kilometers off mainland Ranong Province. The park’s five islands lie just south of the Burmese border. The two main islands, Koh Surin Nua and Koh Surin Tai, are separated by a narrow strait only 200 meters wide. With almost no flat ground beyond small pockets of mangrove and little beaches nestled in the many coves, the two islands cover only 19 and 12 square kilometers, respectively; the highest point on the latter reaches 350 meters. Again, world- class diving is within easy reach. Guests can go to the beach to swim, snorkel and look for monkeys and other wildlife or they can visit the Moken sea gypsy village. Transfer to Kawthaung for guests’ departure. M/Y Exuma Paradise on earth .
