DANICIN'TIMES Page 6 December 1998 The dancers who comprise the US$DA-MN board of directors have been busy with many issues this past year. Frequently discussion has focused on the subject of offe.iog t second monthly dance. The board has not been able to reach a decision and really needs your input. The board members want to respond to YOUR dance needs and address YOTIR suggestions. Shoutd we sponsor another dance each month? This m y seem a simple question on the surface, ffid many would say, "\Xihat is the problem? Of course, we need as many dances as we can gpt!"

Well, nothi.g is ever as simple as yes or no. Let us consider a few of the logistical questions. First where, when, and how? And, second: will the rnembenhip and local ballroom dancers support it --- if we hold a dance, will th.y come? Before you WILL answer the following poll, I offtr the following points for you to bear in mind: 1. There are costs involved. The dances need to be at least a THEY bre ak-even enteqprise.

2. We do not want to hold dances on the satne dty as other providers, especially rf th"y arc doing this on a consistent basis. GOME
