ARTISTIC SKATING WORLD CUP PESARO – ITALY CATEGORIES SHOW GROUP AND PRECISION FROM 07 TO 11 NOVEMBER 2018 BULLETIN N°01 DATE 31/07/2018 ARTISTIC SKATING WORLD CUP: SHOW GROUP AND PRECISION Dear Sirs, We welcome you to the Artistic Skating World Cup: Show groups and precision. This World Cup aims to propose a format for a trophy at a world level for the specialty Entertainment Groups and Precision. It is a competition that does not replace the World Championships but provides a format to allow participation in an international competency, to those groups that fail to reach the top of the World Championships or the Continental Championships or who do not even participate but which have a level admissible at an international level. LOCATION The event will take place in the city of Pesaro (Italy), at the Adriatic Arena. Adriatic Arena is strategically located on Central Italy, on the Adriatic Coast. It is easily reachable from North to South Italy; 4 km far from Pesaro downtown and beach, 3 km far from Pesaro railway station and 2 km from A14 highway exit. We invite you to contact the LOC to get the best accommodation and meals proposal in the official hotels. Download the Annex 1 to find the delegations booklet with more details about the accommodation, facilities, location and meals. Transportation to and from the airport and shuttle on site will be guaranteed only for the delegations who book an official hotel through the LOC. REGULATION These are the rules and constraints for the National Federation organizing and for participation in the Cup. - The specialties admitted and the timing of their programs are the following: • Promotional Quartets 3:00 mins +/- 10 secs • Promotional Groups (min 6-max 12 skaters) 3:30-4:00 mins +/- 10 secs 3 • Youth Quartets 3:00 mins +/- 10 secs • Youth Groups (min 8-max 16 skaters) 3:30 mins +/- 10 secs • Quartets 3:00 mins +/- 10 secs • Small Groups 4:30 – 5:00 mins +/- 10 secs • Large Groups 4:30 – 5:00 mins +/- 10 secs • Precision Junior (min 12-max 16 skaters) 4:00 mins +/- 10 secs (World Skate 2017) • Precision Senior 4:30 mins +/- 10 secs - The duration of the Cup is 5 days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). - Each National Federation can register 5 groups for each specialty except for Promotional Quartets and Groups that is open with no limits. The hosting nation can enter 7 groups each speciality. These groups will participate for the membership club. - The competition of Promotional Quartets and Promotional Groups runs out on the first day. Thursday and Friday are dedicated to qualifying for Youth Quartets, Youth Groups, Quartets, Small Groups, Large Groups, Precision Junior, Precision Senior0. - The current World Champions will be eligible for the final. In addition to those entitled, each national federation can bring up to 5 groups per specialty. - For the International categories there is a cash prize for the first three classified. - A special prize is provided for the promotional categories. - In the final the first 6 of the classifications will be admitted. - Precision Senior will be judge with the new Roll Art system. REGISTRATION The registration will be available through the official online platform that will open on September 17th at 00:00 AM (European time) and will close on October 21st at 11:59 PM. The World Skate will send you the link to the Platform and the User Guide with the next bulletin. Promotional groups and quartets shall get in touch with their own N ational Federation in order to register to the event.
