TBARTA MPOs CCC 2019 Regional Multi-Use Trails Priority Projects Approved by the TBARTA MPOs CCC Board on July 13, 2018 - Draft Updates for 2019-2020 FDOT DISTRICT 1 - REGIONAL MULTI-USE TRAIL PRIORITIES (MANATEE, POLK, AND SARASOTA) 2019 Regional/State Trail Jurisdiction Project Request/Phase(s) Total Cost Ranking Corridor $425,000 RTAP requested for an $51,379,749 Legacy Trail Northern 7.5-mile northern extension of existing 12-mile Legacy Trail; existing 1 Sarasota County Gulf Coast Trail Environmental survey for the 7.5-mile Includes $8.4M from Sarasota rails-to-trails corridor connecting Venice and Sarasota downtowns. Extension corridor County for ROW Construction of 2.2 mile segment between Lake Parker and SR 33. The Request Design Funding proposed trail provides direct access to 2 regional parks and over 1,600 Peace River to acres of state-owned conservation/recreation land.
