MOUNTAIN ROOM • A smaller conferencing room, which can also be used as a breakaway room or for smaller conferences or meetings. • Ideal for boardroom or u-shape meetings. Payment Any amount due to the Chapmans Peak Hotel will be payable as follows: • A 50% deposit together with a signed copy of this agreement will be required in order to confirm the booking. • The balance of the account, including the bar estimate, is required seven days before the conference/ function, when you confirm your numbers. Extras to be settled within ten days after the event. • Any bookings made between one and 30 days prior to service requires full payment, unless otherwise authorized. • Should the deposit/pre-payment not be received within the time-frame specified, Chapmans Peak Hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation. • During periods of high demand we may require full pre-payment. Cancellation Policy • 7 days or less: 100% cancellation fee will be charged. • Between 8 & 14 days: 50% cancellation fee will be charged. • In the event that your function is cancelled, a full refund will be granted, provided the hotel receives written notification within 60 (sixty) days of your function. Thereafter any deposits will be subject to reasonable cancellation charges. • Please note that all refunds are subject to commission and/or bank charges . • No shows / Late arrivals/early departures: no refunds will be given for meals or services not taken up. Liability • The client shall be responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment therein, by any act or omission of the client or guests/employees of the client . • Chapmans Peak Hotel will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the presence of our guests, or their respective properties on the hotels premises. The client hereby indemnifies Chapmans Peak Hotel against any claims, in lieu of negligence that might be brought against it. • Whilst every precaution will be taken to ensure the safeguarding of your belongings, Chapmans Peak Hotel will not be liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever. Other • Number of delegates should be confirmed in writing 1 week prior to the conference. Should there be a change in numbers, the final number of delegates must be confirmed 72hrs prior to the conference, we will cater for that number and charge accordingly. • Day conferences must end at 12h30 / 17h00 and evening functions at 23h00. If extra set up or breakdown is required, an additional fee will be charged. For functions that continue after midnight, 00h00 hours, a charge of R 3,000 per hour will be levied. • Should your conference / function take place on a Sunday or a public holiday, a surcharge of R 3,000 per day is applicable. • Please indicate whether any special or extra equipment is required. • If there are any time constraints, vegetarians or disabled guests please advise 72 hrs prior so that we are able to accommodate them to our best ability. • Please note that beverages and service charge during lunch are not included in the package and will be charged on consumption.

Pass the left turn that would take you back on to the freeway. Take the next turn left, signposted Stonehurst. Proceed to a roundabout. Go straight across. The entrance to Stonehurst is ahead of you. From Milnerton and N1: You have the option of taking the M5 South. Continue as far as Military Road (signposted Steenberg). Turn right. Shortly after crossing the railway turn left at the traffic lights into Main Road. At the next traffic lights, turn right into Steenberg Road. Follow instructions above for Cape Town City. From Simonstown, Noordehoek area: Take Ou Kaapse Weg going north right to the end. At the T junction, turn right on to Steenberg Road. At the next set of traffic lights (signposted Westlake left and Stone-hurst right) turn right. Proceed to the roundabout and go straight across. The entrance is ahead of you.     Directions – To MTN Sciencentre (From airport) Option 1: • Follow CITY signs and join N2 dual highway (you will see Table Mountain in front of you). Head towards Cape Town. • Approx 5kms from airport, take "VANGUARD DRIVE / N7" turn-off to left and turn right at second traffic light, and head back over the N2 highway along Vanguard Drive for approx 10kms. Drive through several traffic lights. • Road then becomes a dual carriageway as you get near to N1 highway. • Take left turn off to N1 / CITY, and head south towards Cape Town along N1 Highway. Keep in left-hand lane. • You will see large Century City office complex and Canal Walk Shopping Centre on rhs. • Approx 4kms along N1 turn left to SABLE ROAD. • At traffic light, turn right and cross over N1 and go straight through first traffic light and move into right-hand lane and proceed approx 1km before sharp right-hand bend. You will see Ratanga Junction Amusement Park and large yellow roller coaster on rhs. • Proceed 300mtrs after sharp bend to traffic lights. • At traffic lights, turn right into Canal Walk entrance. • After 200mtrs drive straight across traffic circle and bear left after another 200 mtrs into entrance ramp up to Canal Walk Parking area (ignore first road to the left 100mtrs after the circle next to the Coluseum/Rabie building). • Drive up ramp and enter Security Boom. Park on the level you enter on. • Then bear right and find parking near Entrance 5 - and MTN Sciencentre is located next to House and Home, Entrance 5.
