March 19 No School/TDD We have been approved for a construction project for buildings 4 and 5. We have March 20 First day of Spring temporarily moved classes out of the buildings so that we can begin renovations. It is anticipated that construction will continue for the rest of this school year, and it should be complete over the summer. I am excited for our Pirates to see their new classrooms!

Spring break begins at the end of the day on March 18th. I hope everyone has a great March 22-26 Spring Break break, and please continue to be safe.

PTA News Where did half the school year go?! Time is flying by, but we are so excited about the second half of the school year. In February, we had a very fun and successful Coronado Day at our Dough Girl cookie dough Valentine’s Day social. Lots of fun and sugar was had by all! Have you seen our Facebook page? If you haven’t liked it, then you should! We were so lucky this year to have an amazing parent volunteer her time to create posts and share all the great stuff we are doing at CBES. Huge shout out to Jaclyn Lund for being such a dedicated part of our PTA team. She deserves a positive referral for all the hard work she has put in. Parents on the staff appreciation committee continue to crush it and based on all the thank you notes that the PTA has received, I’d say that the teachers and staff feel pretty appreciated. Thank you to all of the families that continue to donate month after month to make our staff feel extra loved. With a little luck o’ the Irish, this month will have the same results! The breakroom has been restocked to abundance and the teacher freebie box continues to be refilled weekly with goodies from a trunk filled with all things that teachers can use in the classroom.
