We have now invoiced the conference fee or charged your credit card. For family member board and lodging and weekend stay, please pay at the camp office not later then 17 August. Credit cards (Visa, Master Card and others, but not AMEX and Diners) are accepted. Payment in SEK, please. Bank facilities and cash point are available in nearby Fårösund. For latest news, please go to the HF 10 website www.nordichf.org. Camp Lodging is slightly primitive. You will receive bed linen but you are asked to make up your beds yourselves. Leisure wear is appropriate at all times. Internet is available (guest computers as well as wireless to laptops). If you have not already informed us on wishes for special food, please do that soonest. Time schedule We expect you to arrive on Monday, 16 August, and to depart on Friday, 20 August (unless you have registered other arrival/departure times). The HF 10 reception will be open 15.00 - 22.00 (Monday), 07.30 - 17.00 (Tuesday to Thursday) and 07.30 – 11.00 (Friday). The conference will start on Tuesday 17 August at 08.00 sharp and close Thursday evening the 19th. For travel by sea, contact your travel agent soonest possible as August is peak time for the ferries between the Swedish mainland ports of Oskarshamn/ Nynäshamn and Visby. Arrival, Monday 16 August Bus with signs "HF 10" will leave 16.30 from Visby harbour terminal via Visby airport at around 16.45 for scheduled airline arrivals up to 17:15. A second bus will leave from the harbour terminal at 18.30 via Visby airport at 18.45 for scheduled airline arrivals up to 19:00. Departure, Friday 20 August The first bus for Visby will leave the camp at 06.00 for Visby airport (for 07.50 flight departure to Stockholm) and Visby harbour. Other transport will be organised as needed, see www.nordichf.org . Departure, Thursday 19 August Transportation to Visby Airport (evening flight) will be arranged for partipants at the HFIA meeting in Stockholm on Friday. Storsatsningen på Kroatien för sommaren 2013 innebär att Apollo erbjuder 500 platser från Visby Airport till det populära Kroatien. Landsortsflyg till Kroatien På lördagar från den 24 augusti fram till och med den 21 september kan gotlänningarna flyga direkt från Visby Airport till Kroatien. - Vi är mycket glada över möjligheten att få presentera denna satsning från Apollo. Då vi länge sett en ökad efterfrågan på direktflyg från Gotland är det extra roligt att kunna erbjuda inte bara ökade volymer utan också en nyhet som Kroatien, säger Gunnar Jonasson, flygplatschef Visby Airport. Photo: Swedavia Feb 20, 2019 10:42 CET Debut of modern bag drop system at Visby Airport – automated solutions for every step of the passenger’s journey Now it will be even easier to fly from Visby Airport. On Wednesday, February 20, a new, modern and integrated bag drop system will be inaugurated at the airport. Visby Airport will thus be one of the first airports in the Nordic region to offer a fully integrated bag drop system. Using the automated bag drop system with no counters, passengers check in at home and have their boarding card sent to their mobile phone or they can check in at the airport’s automated check-in machines. Staff will be on hand then to provide help if necessary “With this modern, innovative bag drop service, Visby Airport will be an even smoother and more efficient airport. It is gratifying that we can now offer automated solutions for every step of our passengers’ journey at the airport. This investment is an important part of the development work to modernise Visby Airport in preparation for the needs of the future. All development takes place in close collaboration with airlines and other partners at the airport, all to make the travel experience as efficient as possible,” says Gunnar Jonasson, airport director at Visby Airport. Bakgrund Miljöprövningsdelegationen inom Länsstyrelsen i Stockholms län lämnade i beslut daterat 2015-01-29, med stöd av 9 kap. miljöbalken, Swedawia AB tillstånd till civil och militär flygverksamhet vid Visby Airport. Tillståndet gäller en årlig omfattning av högst 35 750 flygrörelser, varav 30 000 civila och 5 750 militära. Bedömning Ledningskontoret och samhällsbyggnadsförvaltningen har gått igenom domen och anser att domen innehåller ett antal otydligheter som sammantaget ger en oklar bild av vad tillståndet kan ge för konsekvenser för den framtida bebyggelseutvecklingen i Visbyområdet. Mot bakgrund av detta anser förvaltningarna att det föreligger starka motiv att överklaga domen och har därför tagit fram ett förslag till formulering av ett överklagande. Oil 7 Tunisia and Egypt turmoil: impact on traffic 8 EUROCONTROL statistics and forecasts European flights were up by 5.2% on the same month last year, although this figure is distorted by the above average number of cancellations in January 2010 due to industrial action and bad weather. 3-4% monthly growth for the month of January is a better indication of the underlying trend. (see Figure 1). Based on preliminary data for delay from all causes, 38% of flights were delayed on departure in January, a big improvement on December 2010 and indeed both a 9 percentage point decrease on January 2010 and also the lowest percentage of flights delayed in January since 2002 (EUROCONTROL, February). (see Figure 2). The new medium-term forecast of flight movements 2011 – 2017 is for 11.6 million IFR movements in the EUROCONTROL Statistical Reference Area (ESRA) in 2017, 22% more than in 2010. Traffic growth will bounce back in 2011 (above 4%), but with the underlying growth rate a little more than half of this, after allowing for the effects of the ash-cloud, weather and strikes.
