Foulquier Fait L'éloge De Brahimi Sport / Sports Sélection Algérienne Foulquier fait l’éloge de Brahimi L’ex-coéquipier du milieu de terrain Yacine Brahimi, à Rennes puis Grenade, Dimitri Foulquier, n'a pas tari d'éloges sur l'international algérien, désormais à Porto, le qualifiant d'un “des meilleurs joueurs offensifs en Europe”. “Les gens ne connaissent pas bien Brahimi parce qu'il n'est pas très médiatisé, mais personnellement, je le connais et je peux vous assurer qu'il n'a rien à envier à de grands joueurs, comme les Argentins du Paris SG, Javier Pastore et Ezéchiel Lavezzi”, a affirmé l’ancien Rennais dans une déclaration au magazine Onze Mondial. “Je suis convaincu qu’un club comme le PSG gagnerait à recruter Brahimi, car il possède suffisamment de qualités pour lui apporter un plus”, a poursuivi l’ancien latéral droit des Rouge et Noir. Des éloges qui interviennent quatre jours seulement après ceux d’un autre ancien coéquipier de Brahimi, en l’occurrence, l'international algérien, Hassan Yebda, qui, lui aussi, l’avait classé parmi les actuels “meilleurs joueurs du monde”, dans une déclaration accordée, mardi, au magazine spécialisé France football. “J’ai côtoyé plusieurs grands joueurs durant ma carrière, notamment l'Argentin Pablo Aimar au Benfica Lisbonne, mais Yacine (Brahimi, ndlr) est à un cran au-dessus”, a affirmé l'ancien milieu de terrain de Grenade, de Naples et de Portsmouth, actuellement à Al Fujaïrah (Émirats arabes). Des louanges intervenues dans la foulée du sacre de Brahimi à la cérémonie des “Los Premios de la Liga”, au cours de laquelle il s’est vu décerner, lundi dernier, le titre de “meilleur joueur africain” du championnat espagnol de football. “Brahimi est sans doute le joueur qui se retourne le plus rapidement avec le ballon. C’est vraiment un phénomène !”, avait encore vanté Yebda sur son ancien coéquipier au FC Grenade. Yacine Brahimi a connu une ascension fulgurante depuis qu'il a quitté le Stade Rennais (Ligue 1 française), aussi bien avec ses nouveaux clubs (FC Grenade et FC Porto) qu’avec la sélection algérienne, avec laquelle il a réussi une qualification historique au 2e tour de la Coupe du monde, en juillet dernier, au Brésil. L’an dernier déjà, Brahimi (24 ans) a été désigné comme meilleur joueur du FC Grenade, où il avait considérablement marqué les esprits par son sens inné du dribble. Un exercice dans lequel il avait cumulé de meilleures statistiques de réussite que Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) et Lionel Messi (FC Barcelone). Même en Ligue des champions, Brahimi a brillé de mille et un feux cette année, notamment à travers le triplé qu'il a signé contre le Bate Borisov au cours de la première journée de la compétition. Avec l’Algérie, l'ancien Rennais comptabilise 3 buts et 2 passes décisives en 13 sélections, tout en jouissant du statut de “titulaire indiscutable” depuis l'arrivée de Christian Gourcuff aux commandes des Verts..

Some 2.5 million Arab tourists arrived in Egypt last year, and the country’s tour- ism ministry expects the number to soar to three million by this year-end. Arab tourist arrivals totalled only 1.8 million in 2011. In the first quarter of this year (January to March), Arab tourist arrivals in Egypt totalled a little over 520,000, up 7.5 percent over the corresponding period of 2012, when the figure was 484,000. Arab tourists have larger stays in Egypt as compared to their counterparts from the rest of the world, the average being 11 nights in 2011, Al Sharq reported yesterday, citing tourism ministry figures. Arab tourists spent 7.4 million nights in Egypt in 2012, up 14.4 percent over the pre- vious year, and their average spending per night was $83.7.
