MASTER SCHOLARSHIP PRIZE During the Big Data Business Challenge one 20% scholarship will be awarded to the participant of the event who presents the best business idea. This scholarship will be valid for the Master in Business Analytics and Big Data 2015 intake.

BIG DATA BUSINESS CHALLENGE GUIDELINES! IE Business School is currently organizing a contest as part of The Big Data Asia Tour in India. The contest has been designed to look for the best talents for IE’s Master in Business Analytics and Big Data. All young professionals who are interested in technology, innovation, analytics and Big Data can be part of this experience where they will be able to learn more about IE and our Business Analytics and Big Data program!

If you are interested in participating in the contest, answer the following question in one essay. How do you think that Big Data and Business Analytics can be used to solve a current problem in your city or business? Some examples of related topics (politics, finance, logistics, operations, smartcities, cybersecurity, healthcare, marketing, among others).

The essay should be written on one page using Arial font size 12. The document should be sent on Word or PDF along with your CV to the following email [email protected]

In the essay you should explain the problem that you are analyzing and how Big Data will be used to solve that issue you have identified. As a conclusion you have to explain the impact that your solution will have on the industry under analysis and our society.

The deadline to send your idea is the 26th of May. You should include your name and telephone on the email so that the Big Data team can contact you in case you are one of the finalists.

The finalists will have the opportunity to present their idea at the end of the event in 2 minutes using an elevator pitch format.

The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to win a 20% scholarship for the Master In Business Analytics and Big Data October 2015 intake. The grant will be subject to the successful completion of the admission process, as well as the candidate’s effective enrolment in the program.

The finalists and the winners will be selected by the jury present during the event. All the attendees of the Big Data Asia Tour in India will have the opportunity to be part of the Priority Admissions Process for this master degree. If you apply before the date of the event in your city you will have the opportunity to complete your admissions interview and admissions exam in person during our visit to your city.
