4 INFORMATION ABOUT HOUSING POSSIBILITES CLOSE TO CAMPUS
OPTION 1 – YOUTH RESIDENCE (RITTER-VON-SCHOCH-STR. 1):
Option 1 is a new youth residence (first-time lease in January 2019) and an ideal location to stay at. It is situated a block away from the bus stop “Alte Kaserne”, REWE and LIDL (both grocery stores), DM (convenience store), a pharmacy, a gelato shop, nail salon, restaurants, and more are just a stone’s throw away. The youth residence usually offers double rooms with shared bathroom. Individual rooms en suite (own toilet and shower) are also available, however, in a limited number only. The room rate includes full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). This dormitory is the best location if you prefer to be in close proximity to the university. The picture below shows you the residence and marks the location of the nearest bus stop. From there it is only a short bus ride to the university.

OPTION 2 – EASY-SLEEP-HOTEL LANDSHUT-ERGOLDING
Option 2 is a hotel in the district “Ergolding”. It takes you about 30 minutes to get to the university by public transport (bus) and you have to change busses one. You can take bus no. 12 in the direction of “Altstadt” (the bus stop “Festplatz” is in front of the hotel) and drive into the town centre (Altstadt). There you change to bus no. 3 (in the direction of “Auloh”) and afterwards get off at the bus stopf in front of the university (“Hochschule”). All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, TV, a kitchenette and a desk. Double- Rooms are equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet. Also, two single rooms share one bathroom.
