The addendum rule, specifying the relevant standard accepted by the regulator in section 127 of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013, is made under Part 2A, Division 4 section 48K of the Electrical Safety Act 2002. In accordance with section 127 (1) (b) of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013, the following standards are considered accepted by the regulator as a standard that can be readily applied to the type, as an alternate standard to section 127 (1) (a) the standard shown in the defining standard. Camping Refrigerators – AS/NZS 60335.2.24:2010+A1 {camping refrigerators are portable refrigerators complying with requirements in AS/NZS 60335.2.24:2010+A1 as refrigerators intended for camping use, and does not include any camping refrigerator that is a fixed appliance} In accordance with section 127 (2) of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013, the acceptance of the alternate standards listed above has effect subject to compliance of the requirement that this rule applies until 31 July 2021 unless earlier revoked; and this rule only applying as an alternate relevant standard that may be applied to in-scope electrical equipment for equipment that was registered to a responsible supplier on the Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) national database on or before 30 June 2020. This addendum rule for the Australian/New Zealand Electrical Equipment Safety System applies on publication and is available on the Office of Industrial Relations website www.oir.qld.gov.au and on the Electrical Equipment Safety System website www.eess.gov.au.     Why is it that some people are convicted of murders that they did not commit, while others are not conyicted of murders that they did commit? Australian Police Services are generally well funded, so something more must be involved. Just what that is, is investigated in this book. Marion Elizabeth Mackenzie BA, BSW, PGDip(Arts) Statement of originality I certify that this thesis is original and my own work, except where the work of others is quoted and acknowledged as such in the text. This material has not been submitted, either in whole or in part, for a degree at this or any other university. Abstract The Scholarship was an external examination held at the end of primary school when students were generally aged thirteen or fourteen. It dominated Queensland education for ninety years from 1873 until 1962. For much of that period, passing the examination was the only opportunity for most children to enter secondary education. It was at first a competitive examination for limited places in the early grammar schools, and later a qualifying examination for entrance to any secondary school. The principal focus of this thesis is the early promise displayed by 186 young Queenslanders who were ranked first in the state in the examination. It draws conclusions about the impact of education on individuals and society through longitudinal research, by examining the influence of family, school, community attitudes, world events and personal choices on the outcomes for those successful students. It investigates how early success was translated into their later lives, how they dealt with the opportunities and barriers they encountered, whether females and males had different outcomes, and in what ways they differed from their peers.

    Little Ducks Childcare Mar/Apr 2019 A note from your Centre Manager We have had a strong focus on our local community here at Wilston this past two months and are looking to ensure these strong community ties continue into the rest of the year. We have arranged for some local specialists to visit the service throughout the year to share their knowledge with the educators and children. Our most recent visits have been from Dr Grant at Method Dental and Chris from the Grange Library. If any of our families know of a great local business, service or group they can recommend to us we are currently seeking to build connections with these services so please let us know. We have also been busy revisiting our connections between our ECTs and our local schools this year. Our early childhood teacher Miss Natasha and myself will be visiting St Columba’s Primary, Wilston State School and Windsor State School over the next month to visit the Prep classrooms and meet with the Prep teachers. This process of having open communication with our local schools is so important when it comes to transitioning our children from Kin- dergarten to Prep. We use these opportunities to ensure that our kindergarten program re- mains relevant and current in line with the expectations of Prep and also to share infor- mation about our program and children to better support them as they leave our play based curriculum to head to the more formalized primary education setting. We have invited the schools to also visit us here at Little Ducks later in the year to help our children feel secure and comfortable when they get to Prep by being able to see a families face.
