CHILD DEVELOPMENT CLINIC: Royal Children's Hospital, Herston Service This team provides a specialist outpatient clinic for children with developmental difficulties and a co-existing chronic or complex medical condition. SERVICES OFFERED include developmental assessment and consultation-liaison with other medical specialists. This service aims to provide developmental management of children with complex health needs who have ongoing relationships with specialists at the Royal Children's Hospital. REFERRAL CONSULTATION is by appointment only. EDUCATION PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT TEAM SERVICE This team provides a state-wide leadership role in improving and promoting the health and well-being of children in the context of their environment. This is achieved through ongoing multidisciplinary training, education and research in the field of child development.
