The t-ball program is an innovative developmental program for children ages 3 to 5. It empha- sizes skills that help prepare children for youth baseball. The program encompasses batting, catch- ing, throwing and running skills as well as agility. It is an extension of the original Start Smart program that teaches eye-hand coordination, how to strike objects and how to work as a team. The equipment used in the program are soft durable products made by the Kosh Company and are spe- GAZETTE cifically designed for this age group. "The Start Smart program is a great general program.
