Superior works with many doctors, clinics, and hospitals in your community to give you the medical care you need. This directory lists the ones that are part of the Superior Provider Network. Superior Service for You and Your Family If you have any questions about Superior HealthPlan or about this directory, call Member Services at 1-877-277-9772. Choosing Your Primary Care Provider (Doctor) Choosing your own Primary Care Provider is easy with Superior. Just pick one for you and one for each eligible family Member from the list in this book. Each member can pick his or her own Primary Care Provider. If you are a woman, you may be able to choose an obstetrician (OB) or gynecologist (GYN) as your doctor. Once you have picked a doctor, call Member Services at 1-877-277-9772. If you need help or don't see your doctor on this list, call Superior's Member Services at 1-877-277-9772. Dual Eligible Members (Members who have both Medicare and Medicaid): You do not need to choose a doctor in Superior's Network. Dual Eligible Members may see any doctor they choose who accepts Medicare. Choosing an OB/GYN You may choose any OB/GYN doctor from the Superior Provider Network to take care of your female health care needs without a referral from your doctor. An OB/GYN can help you with your pregnancy care, yearly checkups and any female problems you may have. Call Superior's Member Services at 1-877-277-9772 if you need help choosing an OB/GYN. Behavioral Health Behavioral health refers to mental health and substance use disorder (alcohol and drug) treatment. Superior has a group of specialists that can help you. Call Superior at 1-877-277-9772, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You do not need a referral from your doctor for behavioral health services. Family Planning Superior members can receive family planning services without a referral from their doctor. You can get your family planning services from your doctor or go to any family planning clinic that takes your Medicaid card. Call Superior's Member Services at 1-877-277-9772 if you need help choosing a family planning Provider. Texas Health Steps Texas Health Steps gives free regular medical and dental checkups to children with Medicaid. It also offers other services like vaccines and vision and hearing tests. You can call us toll-free, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1-877-277-9772 if you: · Need help finding a doctor for your child's Texas Health Steps checkups. · Need help setting up a checkup. · Have questions about Texas Health Steps checkups. Pharmacy Superior provides prescriptions for all its members through Envolve Pharmacy Solutions (formerly known as US Script), Superior's partner who provides your Superior pharmacy services for you. You can get your prescriptions filled at most drug stores in Texas, such as CVS (which includes locations inside of Target), HEB, Randall's, Walmart, as well as many other pharmacies. To find out which pharmacies are in Superior©s network, you can call us at 1-877-277-9772 or look on our website at findaprovider.superiorhealthplan.com. Remember - always take your Superior I.D. card and your Texas Medicaid card with you to the drug store. Telemedicine, Telehealth and Telemonitoring Services Some providers can offer telemedicine, telehealth or telemonitoring services over the phone and/or by video conference.
