From on early oge, Tom has shown excellent ability in hurling and particularly football. In 1981, he won his firs! mid medals when the club won the Under 12 B Football title. The following yeor they retained this lille . In 1984, the Centenary year of the G.A.A. Tom was a member of Ihe MoynejTempleluohy teom which won the Mid Under 14 B Football Final. Tom hod to wait until 1986 to gain his first huriing medal when the dub won the Under 16 B Hurling Mid Finol. The following yeor he added to this the Mid Minor B Hurling title. In 1988, the teom were successful again at Minor B Football in Mid Tipperary of which Tom played a vital role, In 1990, he colleeled on Under 21 B Footboll medal. After a gop of five years, Tom was on the winning Moyne/Templetuohy Senior team which captured the County Senior Hurling B Chompionship trophy in 1995. In '96, 2004 and '05 Tom played on outstanding port in the club colleeling Mid Intermediate Football titles. The crowning glory of this period for Tom was when in 2005, his club won the County Intermediate Football Final. In 2001, '02, and '04, Mid Intermediate Hurling medals were added to his collection. For a man who is blessed with so much lolenl and who has given so much 10 his club, Tom has only one Mid Senior Football medal to his nome but hopes that after today's game he will have the honour of adding to his treasure trove. As well as being a devoted player to his club, Tom has 0150 hod the opportunity to represent his county at all levels in football. In 1988, he mode his debut for Tipperary at minor level. In 1991, he played on the Under 21 Tipperary team and in the some year he played Senior football for his county and again in 1996. From 1993 to '95 and 1998 to 2000, Tom was a member of the County Junior Footboll panel. When Tipperary won the All Ireland Senior B Football crown in 1995 and the Munster and All Ireland titles of 1998, Tom was a member of those winning learns. In 1996, Tom was honoured by hi s peers when he was chosen by them as Club Player of the Year and in 2001, Tom received the Mid Senior Footballer of the Year Award. With all the time he devoted to his playing career, Tom still found time for other aelivities. From 1995 to 1999 inclusive, he was Secretory of his club, Moyne/Templetuohy. He is 0150 a noted ballad singer and has won six Mid Senior Scor Ballad Group Titles and three County Titles. For the post two yean Tom has been a seleelor to the Tipperary Junior Football Team and he has contributed handsomely to the development of the Moyne/Templeluohy football team. Tom Guilfoyle is undoubtedly a man of many talents when it comes to representing his club. And we Wish him every success in today's game.

4 KILLE A G.A.A. CLUB The Killea G.A.A. Club was formed in the early 1900's. In 1927, they won the Mid Junior Hurling title when they defeated Rossmore by 3·2 10 2'(), The following year, they combined with Costleiney to win the Mid Senior Hurling Finol. In the semi·finol they defeated Moycorkey by 3-4 to 2-2. There was no finol played because there opponents Clounlty were suspended and the medals were awarded to Killeo/Costleiney. The Killeo/Costleiney teom were: Pol and William Ryan, John and Denis Mackey, Tom, Dovy, Jim Lee, Joe Hennessy, Mick Mahoney, Lor Brennon, Tom Treacy, Don Coffey, Denis Bohon and Jock, Tom and Mick Moher. Most recent success was winning Junior A Hurling titles in 1989 and '91, Division 3 league winners in 2001 and 2006. KiUeo's most famous son Tommy Treacy won on All-Ireland Senior Hurling medal with I Tipperary in 1930, the year of the Triple Crown. • Today's officers are Chairman Michael Duff, Secretory Jim Hamil and Treasurer John Fogarty. ;.' THE BILLY KELLY MEMORIAL TROPHY will be presented to the . "MAN OF THE MATCH" in tod.1Y'S Senior Football Fimtl. The Trophy is named in honour of the late Billy Kelly of JK Brackens who played for his Club, County and Munster, and is sponsored by the J K Brackens C lub.

1905 sew Templetuohy ploy its first hurling match under the Tipperary Boord, when they played Coshel at Twomile-Borris but were defeated by 2-8 10 2-3. Moyne affiliated a senior hurling learn in 1906, but there is no record of their progress. In 1917 Moyne defeated in the Mid-final replay but were defeated by in the County semi-finol. Templetuohy on the other hand won their first Mid Tipp Senior Football title in 1911 when they defeated Thurles in the final by 3-0 to 2·1 but were in turn defeated in the County Final by Nenogh 2-3 to 0-0. In 1936, Moyne and Templetuohy joined forces and affiliated as Moyne­ Templetuohy Hurling Club and Templetuohy-Moyne Football Club. Between 1940 and 1950 the clubs contested four Mid Senior Football Finals and Two Mid Senior Hurling Finals. They were successful in two, that was the 1949 and 1950 Senior Football finals. They went on to contest the County Final in 1949, but were defeated by Galtee Rovers on a score of 3-2 to 1-2. However on an objection they were awarded the game, a Galtee player was seen hiding under an overcoat during the parade. In 1950, they once again met Galtee Rovers in the County Final and were defeated by 1·8 to 2-1. In 1980 the footballers won the Mid and County Junior titles and in 1981 they won Mid and County Intermediate titles. 1996 sow the amalgamation of both hurling and football clubs, and today our club is affiliated as Moyne/Templetuohy Hurling and Football Club. 1999 marked the completion of our clubhouse and by the end of this month the hurling wall will be available for use.

Club Today the club will be aiming to win its 54th Mid Senior Football Final , a remarkable twenty one in a row from 1965 to 1985 was achieved. A loss in 1986 to todoy's opponents was again followed by fourteen in 0 row from 1987 to 2000, thus losing one final in thirty six successive years. The Ryan Cup was presented to the Mid Tipperary Boord by the late Bill and Jim Ryan in 1963. Sean Ryan was Mid Boord Secretary from 1966 to 1974, Pat Cullen wos Chairman from 1985 10 1988 with Seon Mockler from 1994 to 1997. The club holds eleven County Senior Football Titles. Our Under 14 A hurlers were recently crowned County champions, defeating Toomevora in the finoL

As a player he has served the dub as a in all grades and has played County Minor, Under 21, Junior and Senior Football along with Masters football and hurling and was also a selector for Hurling Masters. John holds a remarkable total of twenty two Mid Senior Football medals between 1972 and 1994. He is the holder of six County Senior Football medals, three Under 21 Football County Finals, one County Senior Hurling Final medal in 1988, and is the holder of six Mid Senior Hurling Final medals along with many school medals. John received the Ryan Cup as captain of the loughmore/ team in 1980 and lost the County Final by a one point margin. He has been a County Football Selector with various teams over the years. All in all, an outstanding player and Club Officer.

That year they defeated Castfeiney in the Mid Senior final.

In 1914 Castfeiney joined with Templetuohy and won both the Mid and County Senior Football titles. The following year they won the Mid final and contested the County final, only to be defeated by Nenagh.

LoughmorelCastleiney won Mid Senior Football titles in 1940, 1941, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1965 101985, 1987 10 2000, 2002, 2004/'05.

Templetuohy won the Mid Senior Football titles in 1911 and 1912.

Castfeiney - Templetuohy won Mid Senior Football titles in 1914, 1915, and 1919.

Moynerrempletuohy won Mid Senior Football titles in 1949, 1950, 1986, and 2001.

Bill Ryan, Laha played hurling and foolball for Cast/einey - Templeluohy from 1911 10 1920.

Jonathan Cullen , Manager of todays LoughmorelCastleiney Senior Football team won Mid and County U21 B Football medals in 1996 with Moynerrempletuohy.

The draws for Ihe 1913 Mid Tipp Senior Foolball Championship were, Loughmore v , Temple tuohy v Thurfes, Arravale Rovers v Templemore and Cashel v Castleiney. There were wins for Loughmore, Thurles, Templemore and Cashel in the first round. Cast/einey were to play Cashe{ in Thurles but neither team provided a ball. Cast/einey stayed away for the replay and Cashel were awarded the match. In the semi finals, Thurles were awarded the game against Loughmore on an objection and Temp/emore defeated Cashel.
